You two seemed to have communicated clearly and openly about meeting and feelings in the past. You are being quite forthcoming, mature and honest. He is mirroring this when he communicates with you but I get the feeling when he's on his own and has time to think he is a bit overwhelmed and wants to make sure he is making decisions based on logic rather than impulse. I think he didn't meet you because he thought it was a bit premature and didn't want to give you wrong ideas. I think he wants to really make sure that meeting is a good idea and based on mutual feelings.

I think that if I'm reading this correctly, they broke up because the stability wasn't there seemed like it was in the distance still. Maybe one or both parties have things they need to work on in terms of growth and maturity stabilizing in life. I think with second card, I would say one outgrew the other one is starting to prioritize grow materially and spiritually mentally one it not. The one who has grown is looking toward the future not the past anymore. Excited for future endeavors while one kinda stuck in same mindset.

so, I think he does have a soft spot for you. I think his mind wanders there often. But in reality like physical realm he feels that time and chance together has passed. He chooses not to go there anymore tries to ignore any feelings for you. Like intentionally. Due to feeling the ship has sailed.

He lives very very far away so us having a chance is probably zero which is why it ended so long ago. We still seem to gravitate back towardd each other every few years. It's tough.

He is really re-examining the pros amd cons of you two. He wants it to be worth the effort. With pents there he may actually be feeling like meeting is a financial strain in him so he wants to make sure if he spends money it's worth his time. Hr hasn't decided what to do yet and is still making up his mind. I'm getting that he's really logical and at the moment not so much about feelings. He really doesn't want to waste time unless he feels he will get what he wants. I don't think he feels bad because he thinks he's doing the right thing by giving everything so much thought.

Hmmm did you break things off with him? I feel he maybe told her that you did it; break up or started growing apart from him. I think good things overall emotional aspect of the relationship that he felt he gave it his all gave more into than he received. Whether that is the reality of how your relationship together was; I don't know but I do believe he told her things along this line.

I think he feels like things can go either way with you. He has caring feelings and gets comfort from your connection but I think he needs something more when it comes to you. I think it's a pleasant but maybe platonic feeling so he's hoping that it will turn into more.
