Hello! My Saturn return just recently kicked off, and I have definitely been feeling the effects of this. My issue is I'm having a hard time interpreting this return with the aspect to Saturn. I'm hoping someone who could help me figure this out!

I am not clear about what you are attempting to do here, IV4Four.Transit Saturn is currently returning to its position in your natal chart (and will get there in February 2020), and you are looking at where this will fall in your May 2020 Solar Return Chart? ... If so, why? (What are you hoping to learn - or be forearmed about - by doing so?) IP: Logged |

Can you please confirm that I have correctly posted (below) your Natal Chart and Saturn Return Chart as a Synastry Comparison - with houses shown for both? ... (The Saturn Return is at the time when it is just leaving your natal Saturn degree-minute-second for the last time - which will be at 07:20:15am on 3rd February 2020 (for your birthplace location). Transit Saturn is in the balsamic phase of your first Saturn cycle - and has been since arriving at 10Sagittarius20 (on 24th December 2015). ... It will begin the new phase of your second Saturn cycle on 3rd February 2020.In The spiral of Life, Joanne Wickenburg and Virginia Meyer write that "with the balsamic phase, some new ideal has to emerge in the function of transit Saturn, defined by natal Saturn, even though that ideal can only be expressed within the framework of the present or the past. The new level of consciousness flows from natal Saturn to transit Saturn, transforming it. If you are blocking its transforming activity, something inside will seem to "die" or you will become confused." JW and VM then suggest that the degree, sign and house of natal Saturn will indicate the symbolic purpose of your Saturn cycles ... and state "your job is to throw out what is not meaningful in larger-than-personal terms and condense what is left, as a 'seed' of some new purpose in the next cycle." So ... to understand how this Return affects you ... you need to ascertain the natal promise of Saturn, and examine/review how this has been unfolding/developing throughout the first 30 years cycle (via events/experiences created by progressions and transits). ... And satisfying your current urge/itch to undertake that review is what now needs to be done to "remedy it" (i.e.. relieve the effects you are feeling because you have yet to identify "where you have come from" [in cycle 1] and "where you are going to" [in cycle 2].)

Sabian Symbol Capricorn 26 A NATURE SPIRIT DANCING IN THE MIST OF A WATERFALL This Symbol shows skipping lightly over the surface of life, dancing and playing. You may feel emotionally light and almost mischievous. The worries of life and the deeper parts of your feelings are ignored as you effortlessly flit over the surface of any troubles. Whilst this is, essentially, a beautiful symbol of a joy, harmony and a 'lightness of being', there may be an element of feeling cut off from your body, or reality. This can lead to a sense of alienation or difficulty in knowing where to land or evading problems by ignoring them or rising above them. Effervescent spirits. Dancing in a carefree manner. Water and fun. Peter Pan attitudes. Celebrations of the natural world. Waterfalls. Mist. Nymphs, fairies. Subtle energies. The Caution: Irresponsibility, avoidance of real situations. Not taking anything seriously. Escapism. Moving, or flying, around. Perceptions of light. Fear of dark places.
