I am thinking at first there may be a bit of hesitation (indecisiveness) between them but with the Fool brings new beginnings with 6 of pentacles brings prosperity and growth with one another.

So for your question I pulled the book - fox - ring.
I believe he represents the fox here - where there some cunning maneuvers or secrets going on? He may try to get back with you with the ring at the end of the spread but the first two cards are showing a warning about this. The lady crowned the spread and it shows her looking to the past so I think this is you reminiscing about the past - just be careful if you decide to move forward with him in the future again as the ring can symbolize a cyclical pattern.

I think this may possibly be my karma with him that how I hurt him in the past this would be somehow in his mind revenge on me or that he makes me believe that he is single all while that he is messing around.
It makes me wonder if he really had feelings for me or I was just some conquest of his.
