Hello all. I'm new here and just learning about astrology. I wondered if it's possible to predict if someone is going to recover from an Illness by looking at their chart? Thanks!

You would need to do a Horary chart using the time you formed the question as the "time of birth".

If there's an aspect between the two planets then yes they will, if no they will not.

Hi Amazonita, this person has a karma of deep transformation which might require a struggle and letting go of their usual believes, habits, mindset, relationships. they will have to find a very safe path and go for it. With Chiron forming a grand trine to Venus/South Node and Mars, I think they could potentially find healing, but transits are not very favourable at this moment, Jupiter is square Pluto so they might also have financial/professional struggle, and Pluto is also square to Saturn in 6th house, so the situation looks blocked at this moment and it might take quite a while, this path seems to still be developing and likely currently in a stressful phase/challenge.

Hi @Stoika7 First symptoms around january 2007, formal diagnosis around march 2008, got healthy again by november 2009 (saturn return?), symptoms again june 2014 and it's atill ongoing.

... in January 2007 transiting Saturn was square your Chiron and Hygiea was square your Chiron, the nodes (north node in Pisces) were square your Neptune in 8th house. In November 2009, tr. Hygiea was square your Chiron and tr. North Node was conjunct your MC/South Node/Venus, this might look like a temporary healing cause transiting Neptune/Chiron/Uranus were square natal Chiron, so something might have remained unsolved or not acknowledged.
Saturn went through Vertex in 6th house and square Moon, so there wasn't a definitive resolution of the issue.
In June 2014, tr. North Node was conjunct Pluto in 6th house square to MC/South Node/Venus... Saturn was exactly opposite Chiron, so the "unsolved" issue resurfaced, demanding attention again...
I think your situation may improve early next summer, as tr Hygiea will be square to natal Chiron and tr South Node will be conjunct to your Sun... I think your issue may find a resolution at the end of 2021, as Hygiea will be conjunct to natal Jupiter and tr. South Node will be conjunct to natal mercury, which is the ruler of your 6th house, and sextile Vertex. Meanwhile, you might still go through significant struggles, but transiting Chiron will keep going opposite to your 6th house and will be trine to your Sun, so this may support you in finding the right therapy. On a side note, if you dont mind, I'd add an observation on a karmic level. With natal Pluto square the IC/MC axis and Saturn/Pluto midpoint square South Node/MC/Venus, there's a deep subconscious block in your life which might have affected your relationships, starting with the family environment. Something "undone" or keeping you stuck to a past wound might be connected to the health issue at karmic level. With Pluto in this aspect and house, there is an outstanding ability for transformation and for healing, the problem is that Saturn in the same house and close aspects may block developments, asking extra efforts for awareness and healing... this somehow includes your relationship sphere cause Saturn is in Libra, square to Venus, so it may suggest that your healing, at karmic level, goes through "unblocking" a relationship issue you may carry from the past, in fact Chiron is trine Venus, it is in Taurus, so there's an accomplishment for healing at relationshiop level to be addressed... At karmic level this is an issue that might be reflected to the physical issue, since Chiron is in Taurus, Pluto and Saturn in 6th house, and the transits at the start of the health issue went to activate all these aspects.
So my personal advice is that besides traditional therapies, meditation and yoga might help you heal such a subconscious block and, hopefully, this would also help the physical therapies to work out.

keep also in mind that Saturn/Pluto midpoint square IC/MC usually suggests to let go of old patterns which may lead to make same mistakes or get involved in wrong situations/paths over and over, so the advice with this aspect is to get awareness of this potential issue, acknowledging past mistakes/wrong directions, avoiding clinging to old patterns which didnt work out and changing solution without fearing new ones.

Wow @Stoika7, thank you so much for taking the time to look at my chart so thoroughly and giving such a detailed answer, I truly appreciate it
I'm still processing and trying to find more info about the asteroid Hygiea, see what else it might show and do.
You side note is right on point, thank you, I don't mind at all, actually these are stuff I have been bringing to therapy for years so all the issues you pointed out make a lot of sense.
Ughh sometimes astrology scares me, it's like the planets and stars are some sort of angels and demons up there playing games with our lives
