Hi sweetie!

Natally, you don't have particular aspects pointing to fear of committment, traditionally, with Sun in between saturn and uranus it all in 2nd house you actually focus on finding stability and committment, even though mars conjunct asc is a quite independent trait, and venus square jupiter usually seeks for others' appreciation (while being spontaneuosly giving).
I see two main issues in your chart.
The first one is your Sun conjunct Saturn in 2nd house, AND conjunct Uranus. These are actually wonderful placements for both maturity and accomplishments (saturn) and creativity/independence (uranus). So there is a quite strong element, as I would compare to the tarot card of STRENGHT, in your "inner self" supporting your willpower, goals and self-reliance against the challenges of Saturn in 2nd house, which usually asks the person an extra effort in pursuing accomplishments. On the other side, these two conflicting elements (Saturn and Uranus) on your Sun can create a certain anxiety and restlessness, especially in the 2nd house of self-worth, as if one constantly needs to show to themselves as being up to (their own) expectations/self-value/goals, otherwise their self-worth would get damaged. In this sense, Saturn here casts a shadow on the bright sagittarius sun, demanding such high standards, while uranus tries to set them free and "rebel" against such high standards... subconsciously, such dynamic may cause a state of anxiety and a sort of never-ending search for inner balance. On a side note, I would notice that the Sun/Saturn conjunction usually points to the father figure, so such a subconscious dynamic may be linked to an authority figure from the childhood whose "appreciation/approvation" the person may subconsciously try to meet or be up to.
The second issue is Chiron opposite Sun and square North Node.
Since Chiron is opposite Sun/Saturn, and square north node in 4th house, it is possible that more than fearing committment, you may fear to show/share/acknowledge a vulnerability, because Chiron in 8th square North in 4th house may point to a "subconsciously buried" wound linked to a childhood education which may have denied to acknowledge vulnerabilities as humanly acceptable traits (I am generally speaking, but this is usually what Chiron square north node in 4th house would suggest, don't know if this may resonate to you somehow).
In this picture, Mars attached to ASC may add a lot of impulsive reaction to such anxiety, but it fortunately gives also a self-assertivenss reaction.
I actually still believe that transiting north node on your chiron was very helpful in getting more awareness in such a dynamic, in a way that led you to explore more in depth the roots of such "unbalance", even though you may still be struggling in solving the issue... but transiting north node is now sextile your Jupiter, so I am sure you're going to find a positive answer at this moment.
Maybe my asnwer to your question is that you may fear of getting hurt because you may fear to find yourself not being up to the goal you have set yourself through being hurt by another, which means you may take it as a failure (Saturn 2nd house)... Since your Venus is square Jupiter, maybe the real issue is not that you're not worth of committment or worth of the other's love and devotion, maybe the issue is that you have set a too high expectation on yourself and with a certain impatience for results for something that doesn't depend on your willpower/worth, but on someone else's will/feelings/life path.
The challenge of Saturn in 2nd house usually is about "learning patience", taking time for solid buildings, while your Uranus and Mars energies push you for impatience and restlessness.

So glad if this is somehow helpful ❤️

The challenge here is that you NEED Mars to find assertiveness, cause Saturn on your Sun gives you anxiety/unsecurity feelings about your future, and you NEED Uranus to set yourself free from the "chains" and burdens of Saturn, so I wouldnt use the concept of "suppressing" but "steering" instead, in order to learn how to use assertive mars and self-reliant uranus energies that serve you well and keep control on those (impulsive ones) that don't (easier said than done, lol)...
I think your mercury conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius trine Jupiter can help you a lot in keeping control of the most anxious energies, because you have the ability to think things through in a positive way, finding solutions and looking at the brighter side of any situation, since Mercury also rules your 8th house and Chiron, logical reasoning and pondering before acting should be your way to find balance, but you also have a creative and humanitaran energy with Venus square Jupiter, so I think that, for instance, dedicating yourself to a creative/artistic/intellectual or humanitarian activity could help you a lot to steer those energies... with Jupiter in 5th house, also having to do with children can be something giving fullfillment.
As for expectations, I also think you need to set these cause of saturn in 2nd and MC in Leo, without any ambitions in your life you may feel quite frustrated. So maybe you could still set your expectations and goals but while learning patience at the same time, accepting the possibility of failure as a simple human trait, counting on your inner "strenght" given by your Sun more than anything else, which may be on its own what your true self-worth is about... north node square your sun may exactly suggest compassion towards yourself as much as you have for any other living being, cause it's in Pisces, mainly suggesting to accept/acknowledge your vulnerabilities as much as your strenght as being part of your same strenght/balance/compassion.
For instance, any time you have a sense of failure or blame yourself/regret for impulsive actions, just stop and tell yourself: "wait, I can't control everything, I don't have the absolute power on everything, if I made a mistake I can fix it and if I can't fix it there's no court that is going to sentence against me! If I hurted someone, I can apologize. if I did something against my well being, it means I have to learn to love myself more! and that's it!" :-)
I know this all sounds abstract and a little "simpleminded", but you know yourself better than I do, what you can and can't do! :-))
...what about meditation, yoga, or whatever relaxing activity dedicated to just yourself, reading, learning, sports, a walk in the park, or listening to music, writing a diary or anything inspiring you, whatever you may enjoy for an hour or two that gives you relaxing time, inner peace, no obligation, nothing to gain or to lose, just an appointment with yourself? once a day, once a week, it doesnt matter. I dont know, maybe you already do something like this, it's usually a general advice for Sun conjunct Saturn-Uranus people, to detach from the stressful energies.

❤️❤️❤️!

this forum has helped me so much as well, I know what you mean!

What you described about your mom being overprotective for wanting you always happy and not giving yourself to others, this matches so well with your north node in 4th house square Chiron/Saturn-Sun-Uranus opposition, even though it's your mother and not your father as saturn would suggest (but Moon is conjunct Mars, this may point to a mother figure as authority), with Saturn pointing to a discipline restraining of your natural Self (Sun)... the "sadness" you may have felt you were not supposed to feel could be that vulnerability I talked about, "suppressed" by the Chiron opposition, so it's like if you may subconsciously impose happyness to yourself as a reaction...? (just wondering) otherwise you may blame yourself for not being happy "enough" as you're supposed to? as if you're not gaining a happy state, you wouldn't be worth/up to your own self-worth, or to others' appreciation?
Do you feel you're not allowed to share "unhappyness", show yourself in sad moments, with anyone?
Helping others, the less fortunate ones, as if they are denied that happyness, so may it be a mirror of the fact that you couldn't experience your vulnerability (sadness/hopelessness) and giving yourself becomes actually a way for you to experience others' unhappyness and find your own relief at the same time by giving them happyness (north node in Piesces and Jupiter square Venus = compassion), and find release (uranus/sun) from that "discipline", and getting rid of the negative side to it ("they are not giving themselves to you, they dont deserve it"), and getting rid of the overprotection/fears of being hurted...?
(I'm not trying to be a psychologist! just wondering about a possible "key" which you may explore, looking at Chiron opposite Saturn/Sun/Uranus square the nodes/4th house...)

quote:
When it comes to partnerships, I know you can't know for sure...but having a solid life partner would mean so much to me..do you think it just isn't my time yet or maybe that I have karma to deal with first..? Do you think that my chart indicates it will happen for me? I think that would bring so much happiness and completion really to my life..and having children as well

You have your sun ruler Jupiter in 5th house... how one could ever rule out you will find happyness?! It is square Venus, so it literally says that your happyness comes with giving yourself to others, thinking big, a happy partnership and... children!
You have Venus in Capricorn, so yes, Capricorn is always taking some time, maturity, foundations, Capricorn wants things to be solid and achieved with discipline, effort, patience, building experience, a solid background... so I would say it suggests you will find your ideal partnership once your Venus has done this job. and karmic, yes, Venus is sextile north node, and your 7th house is ruled by Venus (Taurus), whose rule is: "slow and steady towards the goal". Basically: never give up!

Keep an eye on transiting north node entering your 7th house... in late march (!!) along tr. Jupiter on your IC... then north node will travel though your DSC in late 2022 along with uranus (big news), and your Jupiter return will follow in 2023...

Did I look at your progressed chart for those years? (I remember I looked maybe at your 2021 prog chart)

❤️

PS: have you seen the movie "Into the Wild"? when he acknowledges at the end that happyness is not there if not shared? and what if happyness is not true happyness if you're not sharing also unhappyness.....?

👍👍👍

I think transiting jupiter and saturn traveling in your prog. 2nd house will give much more balance to your life, since jupiter will be square to your Pluto, maybe you will focus a lot also about your professional sphere, it looks like "building" your career path or so... tr, jupiter will be conjunct prog. Moon but it will also square your DSC, so maybe you will have to take a decision at emotional level, maybe a risk or implying "biting off more than you can chew" sort of risk... (in february/march again, lol)

In 2022, prog. Moon will be conjunct to your natal IC, and ready to enter in prog Pisces 3rd house, this looks like you will have to find a balance between emotional and logical choices, with transiting north node through prog. 5th house and through your natal DSC you may have romantic opportunities which look "lighthearted" as your prog. Sun enters Aquarius, as if you will feel much more independent and assertive about what you have gained so far...

Between 2022 and 2023 prog. Moon will be conjunct to Venus and going towards prog. north node, along with your jupiter return, meanwhile tr. saturn will be ending his Aquarius cicle in your prog. 2nd house, so I believe this looks a favourable time for you to establish/achieve important things and start picking what you sowed 🥰

No headache, lol

With prog Moon conjunct North Node and IC, yes chances are high... but based on north node and jupiter transits to natal, I would also say that from summer 2022 to mid 2023 is also possible.
