I'd interpret it as.... the ending of a very loyal, long term friendship - perhaps a childhood friend? Or even - putting up new boundaries in a long term friendship that shakes its foundation? Or the sickness of a beloved pet IP: Logged |

Thank you! My question was with K and I ever date? I asked that a year ago and got those. At the time I read it as we wouldn’t go beyond a friendship.I originally interpreted tree + dog as friendship but now that I’ve recently ended a relationship, looking back at the reading if the sickle is referring to that. I saw somewhere that tree + dog can also mean soulmate…however, it is so hard to discern because of my bias haha IP: Logged |

Hi javaweb. I can see why you might think "soulmates". I'm not very familiar with the style of Leonormand decks. I have a couple, the system is harder for me to remember and grasp. There are some calculated pages dedicated to them online. I'm usually an intuitive reader. I try to take the energy I feel from the art and throw my limited experience of the card meanings, into it, to find the answer. In the case of
Scythe - Tree - dog
In my mind's eye I see it as a long standing foundation that is cut away and the loyalty is left tested or longing?

Java, so if I'm understanding correctly you pulled those cards and then you and K ended up in the relationship afterall? Maybe it meant axing (Scythe) the friendship (Dog) in order for something more substantial to grow (Tree) between you both? IP: Logged |

We are not in a relationship (yet lol). As of right now we’re still long-time acquaintances lol Hmm that could be another interpretation. I think im gonna pull some new cards.

Hello, is the first card Scythe? I would say something will cut the growth of the friendship. I'm not sure that will make sense but with scythe at the beginning, I would say it may be a little hard for you two to date. Does it seem that you two got any closer since you got those cards?

OK..so wow! A year later, I did another reading. Instead of asking "Will K and I ever date?" (my original question). I asked "What would a romantic relationship btw K and I be like?"I like to meditate for a few seconds as I hold the deck in my hand and think about my question. Cards that fell out were Child, Bouquet, Fish. I didn't take them as I didn't start shuffling yet but took a mental note. I then started shuffling, Bouquet flips over. I decide to keep it and shuffle two more cards. My original intention was to just do a 2-card spread for easier interpretation, but then decided to do 2 more just in case and see how it would fit with Bouquet. I got Dog + Clover. So Bouquet + Dog + Clover. Looking up some interpretations online but I feel good about this spread!  IP: Logged |

Hey, I decided that I want to help a little with interpretation.But I noticed that you put the cards all together, you said bouquet flipped over. So are you wanting to read the cards together or you want to read bouquet separately and dog + clover the two cards? I'm hoping I make sense lol bouquet is a good card as it could mean beautiful, I mean that's how I see it. Ohhhh, I thought you meant bouquet fell out 😯 So uh bouquet like I mentioned is a good card, I would say it would probably be enjoyable. But with the dog card is a little confusing, dog could indicate a bond with each other and being loyal while clover is saying taking things lightly and have some fun? Maybe being carefree.

Lenormand is sooo hard LOL. I also interpret Dog as loyalty
I shuffle by scattering the cards around face down (then I gather and cut the deck etc). Bouquet turned, facing up (what I consider a "jumping card") It is interesting because when I asked earlier that day with Tarot would the relationship be long-lasting and I got 3 of Cups. I've known him since middle school and we have mutual friends/acquaintances. IP: Logged |

This is why I stick to my beloved oracle cards haha Given it was Bouquet + Dog + Clover, maybe a romantic relationship that is rooted in a solid friendship, as well as socializing with other friends. Very outgoing and fun relationship...? I need that in my life lol I also read somewhere that 3 of Cups can also mean a friendship turning into romance. It's funny though because on the 3 of Cups card that I have (Angel Wisdom Tarot deck) there are two women and a man (contrary to 3 women in the traditional Rider Waite) and that reminded me of my love interest (K), my female best friend and me. In terms of how he feels about me, when I did a reading a while ago I got The Empress. The thing is is that I know he’s attracted to me and I’m attracted to him, but he doesn’t know that lol. I was just wondering what a relationship would be like and be if it’d be long-lasting. I do intend on telling him my feelings but not soon. The Empress is a nice card to get. I can see that this card is saying you are attractive/beautiful to him. He may also feel you are caring and loving towards others, may even care about others more than yourself sometimes(?)Hopefully when the time is right and you tell him how you feel, things will turn out great for you.
