Hi, is there anyone willing to interpret any indications of sexual abuse and shame in my chart? I’ve gone through sexual abuse at multiple points in my life, starting at 4 or 5 from a family member who was a teenager at the time. Then again from a friend’s father from 5th grade until 10th grade. I also dealt with a lot of antagonization and just bullying in general, usually from teachers or older women, which became a lot more prevalent as a preteen. I can’t see anything that indicates any of that in my chart aside from my sun and Pluto in the 8th house. IP: Logged |

curiousgirl, I'm so sorry for what you've been through - it is painful to read. I am sure you know, but just to be clear, what happened to you is not your fault and it is not a reflection of your worth. You have immense intrinsic value and the strength to heal from these things, and to turn your pain into light. What is hard to understand, but ultimately liberating, about childhood abuse is that it was never even about us - it was just people in power taking advantage of a situation. It's really not a reflection of who we are at our core. There are some things in your chart that indicate such abuse. Your Nessus conjunct Venus squaring your Mars/Vertex. Nessus is the asteroid of abuse - you can read about it in plenty of places online, and I'm sure there are some good threads in the asteroid forum here. Conjunct Venus, Ami Anne says the native attracts abusers. I think it is good to be wary. Square Mars, there is an internal tension and it's good for you to take action to overcome it. I imagine Mars, the warrior, holding up a shield to protect vulnerable Venus. This Mars conjunct your Vertex, it seems even more likely for you to attract aggressive people, and it's very important for you to assert your boundaries and stand up for yourself - especially in the workplace and in health-related places, because of the 6th house location. It could also play out in romantic relationships and business partnerships (Libra). The Venus/Nessus is also trine the moon, and the moon and Venus being feminine planets, that may be related to the female abusers. Nessus/Venus in your 9th house indicates it would happen in places of higher education or while abroad. Dejanira is the other asteroid of abuse - Nessus is the abuser and Dejanira is the victim. Your Dejanira is part of a grand trine with Lilith and Saturn, so this is a cycle that can go round and round if you're not careful. Forming a kite with your sun, the way out is through your SELF, self-assertion and self-protection with that Scorpio sun. Especially in any situation with shared resources, since it's in the 8th house of "sex, death, and taxes". Chiron is also in your 8th house - I like Jessica Davidson's interpretations of Chiron: https://jessicadavidson.co.uk/2015/05/07/natal-chiron-in-sagittarius/ https://jessicadavidson.co.uk/2015/05/19/natal-chiron-in-8th-house/ Your ascendant and luminaries are in such strong signs - you are a powerful person. You can absolutely prevent further abuse as long as you're cautious, discerning, and fight to protect yourself. Not astrology-related, but I've been working through similar issues and feelings lately and have found this YouTube channel particularly helpful for learning to navigate relationships and read people when you have this kind of trauma in the past that can make it difficult: https://www.youtube.com/c/CrappyChildhoodFairy I would look into and ponder more that Saturn-Lilith-Dejanira grand trine with the kite action from the sun. Something I did to understand my own grand trine better was to journal on how each planet manifested in its respective sign and house, and then see how they all fed off of one another. Then journal on the sun sign and house and how that can help break you out of the grand trine pattern. IP: Logged |

I’m just now seeing this, I really appreciate you taking the time to read my chart! Thank you so much! I’ve always wondered why I seem to attract such aggressive people. I’ve realized there was nothing I could as a child with people taking advantage of me, but I now have the people to remove myself from situations where I’m not being valued. IP: Logged |

curiousgirl, that's exactly the answer... what happened had nothing to do with us, but we have the power and the responsibility now to heal ourselves and avoid repeating the pattern. The brilliant Aubyanne just posted this incredible analysis of Nessus and Dejanira, and I highly recommend it for you - https://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum35/HTML/003374.html IP: Logged |
