You could be on to something with him. I definitely feel the Hierophant and The Magician represent a man who will be involved in an opportunity for you to go abroad. He will be a little older, intelligent, wise - maybe a little hermitty and someone who is just able to make things happen. In his own life and in other’s.

Hello, here is your reading. Before I begin, I will say I'm a little rusty on reading for people so you may see that I will interpret the cards in some ways to see if anything may make sense to you.

The Empress - King of Cups - Five of Pentacles - The Sun

The Empress was a bit confusing, I really had to think about it. The only thing I can really think of is that it means this is an idea. And that you are about to make that idea come true. I keep getting planning/ plotting as if its something that you are planning or that you have planned. Also when I see The Empress card, it could be indicating trying to be creative about moving and living in another country. King of Cups could be a person involved if they are somehow involved with you being able to move and live somewhere else or this may be you feeling emotional involved in this situation. I was also think this means that you may try to control your feelings and emotions about this as well. The 5 of pentacles makes me think either you may feel it wont happen, or there could be insecurities involved. Will you be recieving some sort of support? It's possible that you could feel alone. 5 of pentacles + the sun could be that even though you may feel alone or may not have much support or even insecurities may be in the way, you could still have success with moving and living in another country. But another way of reading 5 of pentacles + The Sun is that something about the 5 of pentacles could hold you back from having success or even being happy about the situation. So I do wonder if the 5 of pentacles is talking about feeling like you wont have much support or that you feel alone? With tarot it's a little hard for really say it's a yes because that 5 of pentacles is really telling me something is in the way.

I think this might be him as he is also quite like a Hermit just like me. Our common friend told me he is rather alone than being with someone who does not share the same core values, and rather builds his life and makes things happen instead of wasting time on anyone, or useless things.

You're close! I'm getting that you're already at your limit of breakthrough- the reasoning and fire under your butt is there, and I think you honestly will sooner rather than later move when you put your foot down and seize an opportunity, however small or risky it may be. It also tells me this is happening much faster than you think since the ace is such a stand out, upright card. It may be a moment in time that's very blink and you miss it, but it is a new beginning. 6 of pents to me tells me that you'll either be moving abroad via the help of someone who cares for you, or you may be working in a very home driven field in your time abroad, I'm feeling something along the lines of nanny or au pair as a starter job? Can I ask what career you'd be looking for abroad? I think it'll be very sudden honestly.

Thank you Emsie! That's reassuring. It's actually pretty accurate, our friendship and relationship fell apart because of how stressful his life became from school and family, it's been a few months since I've gone no contact but yes, he's been trying to get his degree and advance his career. He works in the sciences and his mother has severe health issues.
And yea, I've been living my life as much as I can and taking care of myself and my career also Neptune in Aquarius is in my first (pisces) house right now actually, which is interesting? Very water and emotion heavy lol
If I can ask, can I clarify if he still has feelings/who do you think should or will make the first move to reconcile?

Hello, thank you so much for the reading. It's interesting that you got traveling though as I rarely travel but who knows what may happen. 😁 I'll definitely leave feedback if anything happens. I also do try to be cautious so it would make sense if I was to have my guard up.
