Topic: Does an unaspected Ceres play a huge role in having children?

I have always wanted to be a mother. When I expressed this, I was told I was meant to have a career and being a mother was not my role in this lifetime. I knew career would be a large focus for me as I have my NN in Capricorn in the first house, but it was pointed out to me that my Ceres is unaspected. It just opposes Chiron. What I took from the reading was that this person doesn’t even think I am capable of carrying a child. I am very open to surrogacy, fostering & adoption, though. I’d just like some more information regarding an unaspected ceres. I looked at all of the charts of family members without children, theirs are unaspected. I’m a bit worried.  IP: Logged |

What is your relationship like with your own mother?
Are you a nurturing/mothering person to people? Also, what’s your relationship to food like? Particularity wheat/grains? IP: Logged |

I am really close with my mother, I have to say she’s one of my best friends. We fight a lot when we’re together too often, especially when I was young, but we always come back together. She is not affectionate at all though, I was never hugged as a child & now at 30 I ask my mom for hugs often, because I feel like I missed out on affection as a child.
People who aren’t close with me would say I’m cold and I’m not particularly nurturing or motherly to most people. There are certain people where I just feel the need to protect them and stick up for them, even if I haven’t spoken to them. I feel like I sometimes sense someone who is struggling & I just want to take care of them, I’m the same way with animals as well.
I’ve been underweight since I was born & I have trouble eating 3 large meals a day, I normally just graze during the day and have a meal at night. I could live off wheat/grains, some breads do not agree with me, though, but I think it’s more the additives than the bread (it’s never fresh baked it’s always store bought pre sliced that caused issues). @StarPaige, what a strange and harsh thing you were told during that reading. I don’t think the birth chart can show you how many children you will have. It can indicate some of the issues you might encounter when it comes to children, but more as a general theme than detailed predictions. I also have a Ceres that only sextiles Chiron and doesn’t make any other aspects. I have two sons and had no problems conceiving them or giving birth, even though I was already in my thirties.
