I'm already somewhat detached as it is. I'm afraid that having this transit will make it even worse. Like maybe I might shut down completely.

Your therapy is most likely related to transiting Pluto going through your 6th house..it will help you transform..your natal Saturn in the 4th near 5th may reflect family conditioning as it relates to children and how you were brought up..

I hope you're not feeling down because of the Saturn transit through your 7th house. I don't think that means you will necessarily shut down. You might clarify what you need in relationships and friendships. That's a good thing even if it results in having fewer people in your life.

I don't feel significantly different since Saturn entered my 7th house. It was interesting that I spent quite some time with my ex when Saturn was exactly on my Desc. My dating life hasn't been that great in the past few years so I'm actually hoping this transit will bring something solid and positive to my life. I wish you the same.

I started therapy in February it seems to be going ok. I don’t really feel like being in a relationship right now. I’ve been talking to a few guys from dating apps. I may go out with one but I told him I didn’t want to be in a relationship. My love life hasn’t really been all that great. I’ve been casually seeing this one guy.

I don't think you will enjoy casual dating during this time. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't date - you might meet someone who is a good match and you will both be ready for a commitment. You (will) probably feel stronger urge to change the status quo with the guy you're casually dating - either commit or separate. I saw your other thread about him - I would personally never worry too much about synastry. Do what feels right in your heart. Even if the relationship doesn't work out in the end, your soul needs to engage to grow and experience things.

Also, I wouldn't exclude a chance for someone to show up during the Uranus transit over MC. I have house cusps at almost exact same degrees like you. Uranus rules the 7th house, and at least in my case, most of my significant relationships started during significant Uranus transits. MC transits can signify a change of status, like marriage, and not only change in career. I also noticed transit Jupiter (5th house ruler) was in aspect to natal Uranus (7th house ruler) a few times when I met someone significant.
