hi guys.
despite having no math knowledge i ventured into a computer science degree this year. i’m only 19 and i really wanna do this, but i don’t know if i’m meant to do it or if i just wish i could.

is there any career more suitable for me, or would i even be able to make it in this branch? i don’t know if this is even possible for me, even with hard work. i’d appreciate any guidance on wether you think CS could be right based on my chart or what else i should venture into.

thanks for any help in advance!

I'm uncertain as I'm not savvy at studying charts especially this way. I can say you're mc is in Aquarius. Which is a networking type energy. It's the whole chart to consider though.

Editing

Pof in cancer? Your chart is indicating networking but I feel to strengthen your CS desire gemini/mercury and uranus might be best to be around your mc ...

Mercury in 11th house **could be beneficial for your CS future. I'm not the best one to offer help so pleakeep asking. This response should bump your req up .. GL to you!

Something humanitarian or community-building, possibly through tech or online, higher education or travel. Whatever you do would be very nurturing to others, or perhaps preserving a heritage or tradition. Your chart is favorable to CS, but that’s just the start, the broadest stroke. As you advance in your studies and career you will narrow down your specialty and combine different interests. Don’t think of it in a restrictive way. You could be a remote worker possibly, but consider the wide range of fields you could apply CS to. If you’re that uncertain there’s no reason you can’t take a pause. Many of us wish we had paused before spending so much on degrees we don’t necessarily use. There’s no rush - don’t let society or the normies pressure you.

thank you so much for your insight! its so interesting you mention this because once i read this i went to research a bit more and did a career horoscope and it said that i will likely be significant in a bigger community, and indicated some possible political associations. it also mentioned that my compassionate trait will likely help others and they will approve of me apparently.

this is especially curious because ive always been told i would make a good politician or therapist, but ive never seen it myself because im not particularly extroverted and i can sometimes stumble over my words.

in either case, its so interesting to read this. my second choice would have been law, which could also help others, although my aunt put me off it since shes a lawyer and told me she advises against it strongly.

personally im super interested in CS but i lack the confidence to do it because i feel as though i wont make it through the math bit of it all. i dont know if i have the capacity to understand it. im good with words and languages, not so much with maths- so i was very hesitant on wether its even possible for me.

knowing my chart holds atleast a bit of potential makes me want to keep trying.

i could definitely see myself helping others, even in the field of IT. i mean wether or not i do it as a career, i definitely wanna do volunteer work at some point because i do feel that im a bit too compassionate and i want to use that "weakness" to help others. i am by no means a good person, but i will, in any degree, try to do my best.

also thankfully im in the EU so college is only like 400 bucks a semester, so its not so much the finances that worry me, but moreso the time im wasting if im unsuccesful.

ive always worried that i am meaningless to society, so hearing that i will contribute to it atleast partially makes me feel really relieved. thank you for your insight once again!

There are organizations like TechBridge that combine humanitarian purpose with technological innovation quite well.

Don’t talk yourself down. “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right.”
