Whole sign: http://i.imgur.com/aLuAJtk.png Placidus: http://i.imgur.com/zolgiMO.png I’m 32 and have various desk jobs throughout my life as well as being a stay at home mom until I went through divorce and custody battle. With Merc square MC I’ve had a different ideas for career but I haven’t found anything I’m good at where I make enough to be financially independent. I don’t have a degree and at this point it would be many years finishing school with a 8-5 job plus being a single mom 50% of the time, not to mention the debt. I’ve always picked stable, low risk jobs that are safe but unfulfilling. Barely living paycheck to paycheck, sitting all day doing admin work. I’m a creative, naturally gifted at art and cooking. My parents rejected my creativity and pushed me towards medical and sciences exclusively (traditional money makers) but provided no support, a very violent childhood, and refused to help me get into university. I went to community college for a year and dropped out because I had to start working and couldn’t balance it. A year ago my dad mentioned that when I was younger I was obsessed with the idea of being a chef and he told me all cooks are poor and it was a stupid dream. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since. I love cooking complex recipes and it’s a major hobby that takes up my free time, I love cooking food from other cultures, I’m often hosting dinner parties just for a chance to feed my friends. I’ve been on a long self discovery journey with trauma therapy and now I’ve been wondering if I could hone my skills and start a personal chef/meal prep business. This is the first career idea that my friends have all enthusiastically supported (lol) But any readings I’ve had in the past have said that my chart is not career focused, I’m only going to make money through a spouse, there will always be financial struggles. I have zero interest in marriage ever again and I just want to live comfortably without roommates and support my daughter. I’m worried about the risk of pursuing a career like this. Are there any indications in my chart that I’d be successful as a chef? IP: Logged |

I'm not real sharp with charts but can see keypoints. You could be skilled as far as I see your trine with moon, mercury, pluto might have you super sensitive to the needs, desires (&comfort due to moon) of the palate of another. Idk, maybe that could be a benefit in this industry if you applied it. Here's some things I see that might be supporting your taking this up as a career. Venus on desc, what you attract. I think indulgences are often brought by Venus. Pretty nice place for her imo. You might interst those with rich palates and, orsweet toothes. Your Mars in taurus, could show a lot of energy in this culinary arts. Your jupiter, mars, venus .. perhaps a energetic creative spark with expansion and chance to draw luck (jupiter) maybe being profitable with your mars/venus interst. I'm thinking spicy cuisines and sweets because this trio could be these types of taste buds. A big plus imo is you pof is in Aries and this connects to your Mars (Tau) the ruler of venus.
If not achef career, why not a catering company. If you could use your own kitchen and make it a home based co. It might fit your chartasto how it's perceived, to bring you to the effect/success you'd like. I think maybe even an online foodie recipe influencer (vids). You have libra mc, why not? You'd make a snazzy kitchen for optics, bring the food to their eyes and cater to those in your area, not a chef by the old style way - rather create a new way to serve where your food is exceptional and you could get noticed on line to build a customer base. You'll have them want the recipes and crave the original that you make as they watch. So many types of events, venues and just routine customers you might be able to cater to, for. An idea anyway, twist it like you need to but it doesn't have to be old world style, theworld is changing. Restaurants aren't going to be as they were in decades earlier, a new approach could be ideal for you.
