Anyone have any spooky experiences to relate? I often hear of people who go backwards in time, but I'm not sure if it's time travel or examples of ghostly apparitions. For example, several people have claimed to walk through a door and have the entire place change. They are then in the past. It usually happens in an old house, but afew people have found themselves in the middle of a war on the field! But they can't interact with the people there. Things seem to be going on like a film projection. Are these just remnants of things that happened in the past (vibrational frequencies that remained), or are they just ghosts having a good time and not yet able to "see" us living people? Or have these people just stepped back through a fluke of a random time portal? Any ghost stories to share? Ghostly hitchiker stories are common. And haunted houses, too. Spooky!

After a late girls' night out, a friend and I were on our way to her place to spend the night.
It was about 1 in the morning, and we'd just dropped off another friend who'd hurt herself and was using a wheelchair.
When we got into the lift to come back down, it wouldn't move and started making very strange crashing sounds. We got out and climbed down the stairs, laughing about it. We were on the landing on the 1st floor, when the lift suddenly came down and stopped on the ground floor just before we got there. We still just thought it strange that the lift was behaving like that and walked to the car.
She got into the driver's seat, I got in next to her, doors closed and everything and we were ready to start when I heard the car door behind me slam shut - or so I thought. And she looked at me and asked if I'd just opened and reshut my door - and I said I hadn't. by this time we were both more than a bit spooked and she started the car quickly trying to get the hell out of there, when we heard the pitter-patter of raindrops on the roof of the car - but it wasn't raining! She raced right out of that society and drove like I have NEVER seen her drive before. Yikes - that was SCARY!! But fun-scary, not creepy-scary. I think some naughty sprite thought it might be fun to scare the pants off us, but I don't think we were ever in any danger. I don't know how I know this - I just do.
But I sure am glad I wasn't alone!

What a beautiful visualization your nic is Aquamoon
As a youngster, I had many experiences with "ghosts" & it scared me. It took many years for me to knOw what was happening.
So,I guess it would depend on what you call a ghost. Would it be a spirit who hasn`t found its rightful place and it`s peace or one who wishs to communicate with you for a purpose.
I avoid the word ghost as it drums up scarey connotations( as I once was). I believe we are a spirit living a human experience and the spirit lives on and communicates with us for various purposes.
I am in the Spiritualist church and am developing my gifts of communication with the spirit realm. As long as it`s done prayerfully, God/dess based & the highest good is ask for, one can learn and share much. No more scare My "Pilgrims Progress" developing my gift (one we all have) has been a journey of love and I have miles to go yet.
I think it would be a beautiful gift Aquamoon, to see spirit & to develope it to it`s potential. You must be very sensitive & intuitive

What Juniperb said! Aquamoon, your story really spooked me! John Edward said that our family (crossed over) can sometimes use electrical stuff to get our attention. I was kissing Auriel last night and the power went off! Guess we just got the happy approval of one of our relatives.

Thank you, Juniperb. I'm actually working very hard at honing my intuition.
I give myself about 45 minutes every evening to just be alone.
I call it meditation time, but it isn't really. I light my candles and play some soft music. I start with deep breathing and go on to positive affirmations.
Then I communicate with the Higher Selves of people I've been having a hard time dealing with, try to see the aura around one of the candles I use,
..... and finally, I do an exercise in which I imagine that I'm projecting a beam of light from the centre of my forehead to the centre of the flame of the candle, all the while ordaining it to flicker.

SO! That's the Sixth Sense Honing Programme I've been using these days.

Yes, Randall! I've read, too, that those who have crossed over often use electrical gadgets to communicate.
That must have been some kiss!!!

Aquamoon, altho not meditation in the traditional sense perhaps, your thoughtforms are ideas, deeds & become reality. A lovely way to tune in to your higher s-elf & the elves of others.
With practice, your intitution will grow in leaps & bounds . A good thing to remember is the more you use it, the more you will be in attunement. Once you feel the intuitive knowings, trust it! It`s your gift to yours-elf that you finally remembered!!

I actually have quite a few. Growing up I always thought people had a few experiences in their lifetime. I realize now that most people only have one if any. Some have a few. Few have a lot. I don't tell the same people a lot of my stories.....when I use to, I got the feeling that they thought I was lying, so I stopped.
I told this story here a long time ago but it's one of my favorites.
I went to a slumber party at one of my friends house.(Later found out the house was haunted.) We decided to do 'light as a feather, stiff as a board'. One person lays on the ground and everyone else sits on their knees around the person, with 2 fingers on each hand placed under the person. The person who is at the head(rubbing the person's head) tells a story(made up) that ends tragically(who knows why?) Then the person says light as a feather, stiff as a board. Everyone says that, ending with the head person saying it again. 5 girls lifted this girl up(with 4 fingers each) I don't mean like we carried her, she seemed to float. We got her almost to our heads when she laughed(she shouldn't have done that. She fell like a rock. THUMP! That was a cool night. I've always wondered why that worked. I've tried it before and since and it did not work. Even though (where I grew up) everyone knew what the 'game' was, I never knew anyone who had it work ('cept for the people at that party)

Hi, Randall,

Yeah, I've got some ghost stories. Here's one:

When I was about 16, three of my friends and I decided to have a seance. We were at my friend Debbie's house, in her bedroom. We lit a couple of candle and put them on the dresser. We could see our four shadows on the wall behind them. We sat and held hands and asked "the spirits" if they had any messages for us. We sat there silently for what seemed forever, and I was just about to give up when Debbie whispered, "Look at the wall." She meant the wall behind the dresser, where the candles were.

There were four of us in the room. There were five shadows on the wall.

The seance ended really fast. It was my first and my last. I'm a big chicken!
