The release of The Time Machine (which I haven't seen)has apparently renewed interest in time travel. What do you think? Is it possible? And where would you go if you could do it? Sue IP: Logged |

Hi Raj Yes I agree with you. Hmm I can't think of the word...... I'll probably wake up in the middle of the night and remember it!What is the word I'm looking for??? When you can leave your body and visit somewhere else. Is that what you were meaning? Sue IP: Logged |

Physicists suspect that there is a fourth dimension, and if someone could move into the fourth dimension, then time travel would happen. I think which dimension you're in is effected by your vibration rate.Clods vibrate to a much lower frequency than highly spiritual people, you know?If you're very unenlightened, you might exist in the second dimension. And if you're extra-enlightened,you vibrate faster and exist in the fourth dimension. If you could control your vibration level, you could move between dimensions. I have done astral, but it wasn't deliberate! I have never tried again consiously again though. It was a good sensation, scary at first, but when I realized what was happenning it was good enough. But I never went far from my roon.IP: Logged |

Queen, I like that Jefferson quote. Here's one for you:"[If ever you find yourself in the middle of Hell,... keep going!]" -- Winston Churchill IP: Logged |

This reminds me of something someone was telling me once. This guy said that UFO's were really just time machines. That is why aliens looked humanoid, because they were humans from the future. He went on about how it would be stupid to assume that aliens would be anything like us. Anyway, I forget the rest but he went on about vibrations and gravity and stuff like that. It was actually quite interesting.------------------ "If you can't get rid of the skeleton in your closet, you'd best teach it to dance." - George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) IP: Logged |

possible, yes, but the process is difficult to perfect using tecnological means, and there are limitation, it is better to develope the ability to travel from within your own self. That is much easier and much more reliable in the long run. see, you are anywhere and everwhere that you want to be, to get there you just need to focus on the right spot. IP: Logged |

And as far as the dimensions go, there are a lot more that 4, the problem is with perception, it may be unidirectional. We may be stuck in 3 dimensions and unable to percieve the 4th, but think about it this way, your shadow is your two dimensional self as seen by you, well, you are in fact just the 3dimensional "shadow" or your higher 4th dimensional self, which is in turn the "shadow of the 5th dimensional self, and so on. We can percieve one or two levels down, but up is a little trick, it is easier to take away from perception than to add to it, and so we must evolve our understanding to accept the overflow of sensation that will occur when we trancend to the next dimension. In fact, I believe that that that it is a matter of letting your consciouness "attach" to your higher self, then you can return to anywhere along the shadow that you want.IP: Logged |
