 You know I never "fancied" Sean Connery when he was younger and playing Bond. I think he's really got better with age. He was on the same plane as me a few years ago (sat across the aisle from me) - very sexy guy  I actually used to like.....

I was never a big Bond fan. Haven't seen more than snippets of most of the movies. But I bought Goldeneye the other day because it also stars Sean Bean - one of the hottest men in the universe And, I've gotta say. Pierce does a good job as Bond. I'm even considering going to see this new one.I've got to agree with Cat on this. Sean Connery definately got better with age. There was nothing wrong with him in the Bond days, but he's definately better now. Because of my age group, Roger is the Bond I'm most familiar with. But, while I liked Roger as "The Saint" - I was not crazy about him as 007. I will not address Timothy Daulton. IP: Logged |

Pierce!!  I like Sean Connery now, welll in his 'The Rock' type stage, and retroactively he appeals as Bond, because y'know the voice. But before the more recent stuff his bond-ness never appealed. IP: Logged |

Hi Guys
I'm just now watching a programme "The Best Ever Bond" ....up to 3rd best, so I'll post the best in a minute, when they get to it.Roger Moore is actually the "compaire" (hmmm major spelling problem today)
Anyway, they've interviewed each Bond as they are now and I have to say much as I would put Pierce as my favourite "Bond" (Roger Moore being my second) - my favourite man re personality (as they are now would be....
Roger Moore
Sean Connery
Pierce Brosnan. Looks are a different matter ...then I'd go for Pierce....mind you Sean's looking pretty good these days

The results of "The Best Ever Bond Moment" are now in. And it is...........They call it "The Ultimate Bond Moment" Drum Roll The Laser Beam in Gold Finger with Sean Connery.
They say (and I quote) "The laser beam aiming for Mr Bond's crown jewels" Sean Connery said he was getting twitchy in that scene - do you blame him
Boy oh boy, is he looking great at the moment  I think I've just "dumped" Pierce

Sean sat across from you on an airplane???? Oh My Goodness....how did you control yourself???? The plane woulda been rocking with me trying to climb over people to get a close up "gawk" at him!!!!!------------------

Yes I was flying back to England from Spain. This was around 5 years ago. It was then I that I realised what a sexy guy he actually was + he was very chatty & friendly
