I get one but then I eat it.....then I think NO "quit with the chocolate"...then I get called short...just when I need it...like right now

Trust me...I have searched this house right now...and not a chocolate morsel to be found
I found some walnuts and ate those...but trust me they are no substitute.........

I'm hitting the chocolate shops tomorrow...that is a given

Cat, I have those days and when there's just absolutely NO chocolate to be found, there are alternatives!

Peanut butter. Yes, you may not crave it, but it can hit the spot anyway.

Ice cream/sorbet

Kahlua. Yes, ma'am. Kahlua and milk with some ice will do just the trick. Unless you like vodka, then by all means...

Apples and honey.

You see-it's the sweetness of the craving that can be met. My alternatives are not healthy, but they work! ('course nothing is as good as the real thing)

*rushes off to pour some kahlua and milk*

Okay, I confess. I am a TOTAL chocoholic. In fact, when I have that craving and don't have any chocolate bars or pieces at home, I'll snack on the chocolate morsels I use for baking!!!

juniperb - maybe it's a RAM thing?!

Sue - you are going to that bread...I can tell!

Tomorrow you will get just what the doctor is ordering!

Yup, that's some good stuff. Another GREAT winter drink is steamed milk with amaretto (or honey). The smell itself is worth making it for.

Ok, that was a bit off topic, but still very, very yummy!

Good night all. Here's hoping Cat is having pleasant dreams of frolicking in a chocolate paradise where Hershey's kisses grow on trees and everyone has their very own endless supply of Godiva truffles....

Abso-flippin'lutely!!!

There is nothing better than a movie about chocolate and the spirit of childhood.

A little nonsense now and then

Can I just say that is one of my most favorite movies of all time!!!!!!

Oxychick I LOVE steamed milk with honey- ah, hot, fulfilling, nurturing, creamy

I have a new chocolate shop where they make their own chocolate and they make dark bark
which is dark chocolate with ground coffee beans- ohhhh my gosh I think I have some here! Well now I have to go get some! Sheesh!

I LOVE that movie! It was on t.v. a couple of weeks ago.

What's a good way of making 8 horrible hours at work pass by quickly?

Sorry, that was a tangent. Must have coffee. Can't think.

Back to chocolate...yum. That movie is great. I've always loved Gene Wilder. He's one cool Gemini.
