Cat, I have those days and when there's just absolutely NO chocolate to be found, there are alternatives!Peanut butter. Yes, you may not crave it, but it can hit the spot anyway. Ice cream/sorbet Kahlua. Yes, ma'am. Kahlua and milk with some ice will do just the trick. Unless you like vodka, then by all means... Apples and honey. You see-it's the sweetness of the craving that can be met. My alternatives are not healthy, but they work! ('course nothing is as good as the real thing) *rushes off to pour some kahlua and milk* IP: Logged |

Yup, that's some good stuff. Another GREAT winter drink is steamed milk with amaretto (or honey). The smell itself is worth making it for. Ok, that was a bit off topic, but still very, very yummy! Good night all. Here's hoping Cat is having pleasant dreams of frolicking in a chocolate paradise where Hershey's kisses grow on trees and everyone has their very own endless supply of Godiva truffles....

_________ Abso-flippin'lutely!!! There is nothing better than a movie about chocolate and the spirit of childhood. A little nonsense now and then is cherished by the wisest men. IP: Logged |

I LOVE that movie! It was on t.v. a couple of weeks ago. What's a good way of making 8 horrible hours at work pass by quickly? Sorry, that was a tangent. Must have coffee. Can't think. Back to chocolate...yum. That movie is great. I've always loved Gene Wilder. He's one cool Gemini. IP: Logged |
