thank god i found this !just when i thought i wd go bonkers cuz of the lack of ppl to discuss these matters with i hit upon this place !!i'm a 19 yr old girl n hv a gemini moon n gemini ascendant n ,trust me , its really hard when u cant talk abt stuff like this to ur college friends , cuz they r 'uninitiated'!
ive been having wierd dreams over the past 5 months...the dreams are quite similar in nature. saturn is transiting thru my chart rite now .it's the saturn-serpent-seven cycle for me.it started in 2000 n wil get over in 2007. its said that during this cycle , the opening of the 3rd eye takes place , n the higher self starts naking its presence felt thru intuition n deja vu. that truly has happened with me. but along with that ive also been having very wierd dreams...n guess wat i see in them ?? SNAKES !! i dunno y ive started dreaming abt snakes so much. is it in any way connected with my saturn-seven cycle....the serpent eating its tail , etc ? in most dreams i see myself either killin the snake or protecting someone in my family from it....like my brother , for instance. i really wanna know wat this means . i recently cast my bro's natal chart n saw that he was approaching his saturn-seven cycle , n i told him bout the significance , etc. cd this incident be connected to the dream in any way ? plz share ur views n opinions with me.

oh , since i'm new..a lil about myself.like many of u , ive been reincarnated far away from our original home of atlantis ..in india .im into yoga , meditation n hv read a lot on ancient hindu n buddhist philosophy.n of course , i'm a HUGE fan of linda.in fact her 'starsigns' 1st got me interested in all this .
do lemme know wat u thought of the dream

cheers !

Welcome Oober-galaxian Settle in, you`re home now

Oh my, I`ve had snake dreams too and similar. I didn`t think to see if they pertained to a Saturn Seven cycle

Ra is our dream expert and he does a wonderful labor of love on helping with interpretation. Hop over to Astral Realms and post the dream there as well.

I`ll be watching because I`m quite interested in the results too

I had a snake dream myself, like Juniperb said, Ra is our dream expert, and so your questions will be answered better in Astral Realms.

Welcome.

I found your posting interesting cause I've had loads of snake dreams in the past too. Although I'm not our resident dream expert, this is what I think.

The snake is a very powerful sign of resurrection. It is a sign of shedding your old skin so to speak. As you are soaking up information right now and also practicing yoga, you are waking up the kundalini energy. This you probably know is symbolized by a coiled serpent. When this snake arises there is spiritual awakening, spiritual healing, and the shedding of the old persona to embrace a new path in your life. Have you gone through loads of changes lately?

Snakes also associated with the Hermes staff and all things medical. Any health issues?

Temptation also comes to mind - are you fighting off something which you know in your heart to be wrong?

These are just a few things that come to mind. Hope it gives you more food for thought.

Gia that was very interesting, thank you.

I just have to add that Freud would insist that the Snake in a dream would symbolize the penis, indicating trouble with a man or men in your life.

I'm not a big fan of Freud, though I do like Jung very much. Still...I had some dreams with a snake when I was about oober's age, and they did signify some trouble iwth men.
