hi everyone... anyone who has read Harry Potter will know what i'm talking about when i talk about apparating and disapparating. i have read the harry potter series at least six times (and still going strong) and one of the coolest powers that wizards have in my opinion is being able to apparate and disapparate..and i was just wondering randomly (a very frequent state of mind for us aquarians ) that if everyone on earth could apparate and disapparate, then there would be no need for gas-guzzling cars, busses, etc, etc, etc.wouldn't that be really totally mind-blowing?think of how it would save our environment!of course, it would create a huge unemployment rate, but i'm assuming that apparating has to do with linda's explanation of the human body having the nature of light waves depending on the angstrom units we're vibrating to,so it would naturally follow that only enlightened earthlings could manage to learn how to apparate (isn't that what nahtan demostrated to linda the 'first' time they met?and also the other gurus she had?);and enlightened women n men don't worry about 'unemployment rates' since they are more concerned about saving the world, right? wondered what you all think about this...peace n love... -Gooober

I wish I could apparate and disapparate too! I love those books! I've read them all. I'm on the third one with my kids. I think the third one is my favorite of all of them. IP: Logged |

Do you mean there are people around who can't apparate and disapparate? How strange. Did they miss the lesson that day?IP: Logged |

maybe you could try dumbledore's method...he doesn't need a cloak to be invisible ------------------ the rain goes pitter patter, pitter patter.. my brain is all in a scatter... you don't mind? then i guess it won't matter ;) IP: Logged |

I'll take anything from Harry's world as my means of travel ... a broomstick, floo powder, the Hogwart's Express, apparation, a hippogriff, the Knight Bus, heck, I'd even fancy a ride on a flying Ford Anglia if I could be so eccentrically lucky. Well, I dunno' about thestrals ...How about invisibility, then? Surely if apparating and disapparating is a matter of vibrational frequency then invisibility must be as well, no? ------------------ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi IP: Logged |

this is what i channeled through a dream i had last night... the thestrals are to be likened unto the astral of a sleeping person or a ghost.. which does mean that they are vibrating at a higher rate... hmmm....interesting,cuz i was also told that somehow itz different from apparating n disapparating... ------------------ the rain goes pitter patter, pitter patter.. my brain is all in a scatter... you don't mind? then i guess it won't matter ;) IP: Logged |

That's really interesting, Gooober.I can't help but smile at this ... what I wrote about invisibility was in reference to the comment about Dumbledore not needing a cloak to become invisible. The reason I was wary about the thestrals was about whether or not I could see them ... not necessarily the fact that they were invisible, but the fact that only someone who's witnessed a death can see them. So would you really want to be able to see them? But if you couldn't see them, would you really want to ride on one? My conundrum. It's very cool that you took up the issue of the thestral's invisibility. I hadn't even given that a real thought. I suppose now that I think about it, I would say that maybe they're not invisible at all ... our perception is just not as open as it could be. But the idea of them being like astral entities is really very intriguing. Thanks for giving me more to chew on. ------------------ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi IP: Logged |

oh dumbledore's invisibility din realise it eleanore! i think dumbledore might have been using the disillusionment charm... or maybe he altered his vibratory frequency? that's again food for thought.. ------------------ the rain goes pitter patter, pitter patter.. my brain is all in a scatter... you don't mind? then i guess it won't matter ;) IP: Logged |
