I've been seaching for children's new age books lately for my kids and if anyone is interested this is what my search has turned up: Fairy Tales For The New Age by Arlene Williams And Joyce Rossi which I have ordered and am waiting to recieve found on amazon.com, Mountains Meadows and Moonbeams by Mary Summer Rain also a pending order from amazon.com, The Rainbow Goblins a beautifully illustrated book that is not necesarily a new age message but it's not about evil goblins and it's just a magical idea in general.this can also be found on amazon.com. If I find any others I will post them, also if anyone knows any others or any new age learning material homemade or not please let me know. I'll post the outcome of the books when I recieve them.IP: Logged |

Wow. You know, odd as it sounds, I hadn't even really given serious thought to this topic yet (my kiddo's 9 mos old).Given your recommendations, I did a search and've found this so far: http://www.wordsofdiscovery.com/acatalog/Words_of_Discovery_Children_s_Spiritual_Development___5.html More food for thought IP: Logged |

Yeah. I just spent some of our tax return money. (We're poor so we got a big refund! Yaaaay! ...Hey, wait a second...) - 10 Principles for Spiritual Parenting: Nurturing Your Child's Soul - Fun Is A Feeling - Becoming Me: A Story of Creation (She's a little'un, so I veered towards those for the preschool and under set.)

I haven't really looked into New Age children's books yet. I have a few that I've hung onto over the years, like A Wrinkle in Time, but none I've bought just for kids. Anyhoo, this website AzureGreen has quite a number of books, though not all children. However, it does have children's activity books, coloring books, and sticker books, etc. Just thought someone might find it useful. (The homepage is a little confusing but clicking on Online Store will take you to, duh, the online store. However there are two links and each will take you to a different store format. I prefer the one on the left hand side of the page.)------------------ "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." - Ghandi IP: Logged |

The Little Soul and the Sun ~ A children's parable Adapted from Conversations With God ~ Neale Donald WalschI believe it's more for older children and even adults though. Thought I'd recommend it anyway. IP: Logged |

We recieved Fairy Tales For The New Age a couple of days ago. It's wonderful each story os about the length of the average childrens book so the kids need not get restless, the storys are wonderful and 12 in all - how wonderfully appropriate. Haven't showed it to my son yet but my daughter loves it.IP: Logged |

I recieved today What is God by Etan Boritzer Illustrated by Robbie Marantz It was really good. It explains that all religions are different, but boil down to the same thing - love. It also explains what kind of bibles and churches each religion does, and what i really liked was that it said that to start understanding what god is by reading DIFFERENT holy books, and that to understand , pray while thinking about how you're a part of a family and how everyone is connected. It also explains in a kid friendly way about how people fight over religion and that is good for what is going on in the middle east.IP: Logged |

I can't wait for _Fun is a Feeling_ to arrive. It looks like such a great book, and your description has done much to confirm my suspicions _What is God_ looks interesting, too - very Unitarian-ish. Have you any more coming? Randall - Yep. The coupon clipping alone is enough to drive a person mad - especially since after clipping them, I think, "Now, why'd I do that? Even with the coupon this is still more expensive than generic..." But, y'know, some things just aren't the same, like Tomato Soup. I tried generic forms of that, but they're all too sweet compared to Campells. *fin rant...ish...thing...amabob*

Hi Proxieme, I don't have any more coming yet, I am now waiting to go to half price books because after shipping and all, the books end up costing around $10.00 a piece and i wanted to buy more of them for the other little ones in my family. I'll stick to the ones i can't find to order. Trust me though, when i get a new one i'll be sure to update. IP: Logged |

Can you believe I've never clipped a coupon? It's true. ...Actually no, wait. I used one for a pizza delivery once....Very unlike how my triple earth sign nature says I should be. Sometimes I think I have the wrong birth data....... I just never think of it. Maybe I should start. IP: Logged |

Don't feel bad, i don't do it either, and i have kids. The thing about the generic being cheaper anyway is usually true, the dumb things usually just pile up in my purse if i do clip 'em, then my purse is a big mess which bothers me much much more than saving $2.00 off of $200.00. It's even worse for aa virgo. I wonder what are the planets that control extravagence. P.S. i'm going to find those astro books you suggested tommorow.IP: Logged |

We have been blessed with a stunningly beautiful book which we purchased in Glastonbury a couple of years ago for our six year old daughter,it is Where Sundancers Go by Kumara Tarr. I think she is Australian. The dedication is one of the most beautiful I have ever read -"This book is dedicated to all those wonderfilled children who see and experience the natural world as an integral part of living" It is a stunningly wonderful book which will lift the spirit of all who read it. The ISBN number is 1 876621 02 8.------------------ Remember to pause now and then to look at yoursELF and your LiFE then smile a thank you and continue on.... IP: Logged |

I haven't got becoming me because I already spend too much on books for everyone else so i try and get them used but I have been wanting that one. my kids like Fun is a feeling the best, and the next place is the one of mine that is touching. Its pretty too, i think it was the vellum paper that sold me initially. IP: Logged |
