Another book by Dan Brown, author of 'The Da Vinci Code'. I just started reading it a few days ago and it's great! Anyone else checked that book out yet?

I'm a big fan of these kinds of books, on symbology and intertwining religion, politics and centuries old cults into one exciting story.

I'll let you know how it is when I'm done!

Looking forward to your critique.

What a coincidence?! I just bought Angels and demons and Da Vinci code yesterday and today i saw this thread.

I have heard that Angels and demons is actually a prequel to Da Vinci code.

Looking forward to your comments.

...synchronicity at it's finest....

Now we all have to read the Celestine Prophecy... wait, I bet we already have.

I personally think his books are very poorly written, but they're still pretty interesting, and I like them. You know, filter out most of the crap in them and you're left with some fun facts.

This book is very interesting in my opinion. Strangely enough, the real Pope passed away on the day I got to a similar part in the novel....

Anyways, there are very nifty facts and visuals in this book that make me a little more scared of this world than I already am...

...going well so far.

It's taking me so long to finish as I am reading two other books atm, plus the whole all work and no play aspect. But I'm into it... the symbols are really cool looking. There was also a reference to synchronisity... relating it to religion and science. Both sides taking credit for all things and the battle of wills between these lifetime foes is pretty interesting. The beginning of the book says that all the artwork and history behind the story is true... it's really fascinating.

Loved it. Finished it a few weeks ago, and really loved it. Some of it was a bit far fetched and action hero type drama, but I found the whole thing to be eye opening. I would recommend it.

We have it on tape. Started it but have to restart it. I loved DaVinci Code too. Pretty fascinating and i am amazed at how everyone, all age groups, all religions, all types of people just are magnatized to it. We are all one aren't we? I think there is truth in something that appealing to so many.

Tom Hanks will do a great job in the lead role.

yep was real racy in the beginning
Though somehow i find the climax rather messy or too contradictory...
and somehow though had good stuff like antimatter etc.. somehow the writing did not stir the soul
