Anyway, I'm almost done another book called Basic Psychic Development (I'll have to get back to you about the author, the book's in the other room - too lazy to get it right now). I checked out a few different bookstores and what they had for books on that subject and wasnt liking what I found. But this one really called to me and was unlike the other run of the mill psychic development books I was seeing. I also wanted to find a book on breaking "energy cords" or psychic/emotional attatchments with people. I feel that is something thats holding me back....in unhealthy ways, and want to be free of any that may be there. Though just having that belief alone - that I have to break emotional-psychic ties, is probably a big part of the problem itself. In any case, I do believe that other people's energy can be locked in your field and sap you of your own. As well as your own energy being in others holding you back. But is quite possible to claim it back and send them back their own. All with love of course.

This book has some great exercises on all of this. Chakra and aura cleansing and breaking 'cords' as they call them.
Along with opening your psychic centers. Highly recommended. I'll get back to you on the author.

SunChild, I think you'd particularly like it, because you are an energy worker.

It was about the symbols being of Universal Mind or Intelligence. How we all have these different symbols in our energy fields, sometimes earned from other incarnations. Not all of them are functioning or activated. They can open up while visiting certain spots on earth that you have a connection with. We all carry these and it's sometimes how we recognize and compliment each other. We dont see them with our physical eyes, but our body knows it, or our energy field knows it. We may experience certain sensations. There being a revulsion or attraction or feeling of well being. They coincide with our life plan and are keys throughout our life. If we go to a certain spot or a certain place, if we meet a certain individual, and the key fits the lock. Or the two symbols merge. Or opposing symbols. They'll help us to know what we should do. Somtimes it can unlock memories. Sometimes it can trigger a response within us that helps us make decisions, and change our life. Almost like a little guidance system. At a certain time they can be activated and help us to know what to do. We all have them. It's a universal language.

Crop circles contain certain blocks of info also. The observer doesnt have to be inside the circle to recieve this. Just seeing the symbol in a magazine, newspaper, etc. is enough to download the information. There are many other kinds of methods that we get this info. The person recieving it doesnt necessarily have to understand it. It is implanted on the person's subconcious on a cellular level. The purpose is that we will eventually need the information, and will have it and not even know where it came from.

Using the Pi symbol unlocks some DNA sequences but me being non-psychic, it takes too much effort for too little result.

The book I mentioned corroborated the Crop Circles as containing these Universal Symbols.

When I read about that it reminded me of when I got attuned by my Reiki Master and she gave me the symbols all around my energy field. She stood over each of us while we sat in a chair and did the attunement. One day I'll get to the point where I can actually see these symbols in others, instead of just sensing them.

I have to mention that I find it refreshing to see/know someone who is so knowledgable and interested in these kind of things, Iqhunk.
