Has anyone else read this? I started this book a few days ago, and it is absolutely fantastic. It doesn't preach any certain religion but rather it sort of outlines and discusses the different steps people go through on their spiritual journey. According to Chopra, there are seven stages of enlightenment, for lack of a better word. The first two are the ones that pretty much everyone lives in, and they deal with the material world and its values - the later stages are those attained by the saints and gurus. He really gives a great description of each of these, and he ties everything together with discoveries of modern science and medicine. Lol, I sound like I'm writing a newspaper review. But this book is soooo good! Seriously, this ought to be required reading in all schools everywhere. I highly, highly recommend this book! IP: Logged |

I like all of Chopra's books. ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll IP: Logged | |
