Straight talk about Illusions, Past Lives, Religion, Sex, Politics, and the Miracles of Forgiveness.By Gary Renard "Destined to be one of the most significant contributions to spiritual literature in this century. The message in Gary Renard's book is of great importance to the healing of ourselves and our planet." - Dr. Wayne W. Dyer "With diarming humor and down-to-earth candor, Gary and his guides spell out the truths within A Course In Miracles. The Disappearance of the Universe is both a fascinating story of Gary's encounter with two remarkable spirit guides, as well as a teaching manual about the power of forgiveness. An important and highly enjoyable book!" - Doreen Virtue, Ph.D ".....incredible content....What's most impressive is that this book stays true to the hard core metaphysics of A Course in Miracles." -Jon Mundy, Ph.D, miracles magazine "Quite simply the most unusual and most well done spirituality title around." - Geoff Rotunno, The Book Review IP: Logged |

Greetings 26T....I am just wading through The Disappearance, and Immortal is actually out in the stores now as well, though I don't have it. It's been slow going, but very mind expanding, and of course as I was reading through Disappearance, I had to obtain a copy of A Course in Miracles, which I had not yet read. I had picked it up a few times over the course of the years, but I suppose was not ready for its message. Now that I have finished all of the Conversations with God material, I think I am better able to see the validity in the Course. Great books.. well worth the consideration, but as Linda has said many times, "Let those who have eyes See and those who have ears Hear..." All things come in their appropriate Time (illusion though that is). Blessings... A ------------------ "The ALL is MIND; the Universe is Mental." *** The Kybalion IP: Logged |

Hello A!Interesting that you showed up in this thread. I was thinking about you today, wondering how you were doing as I havent seen you around much. Something strange, I was going to ask Randall for your email address to see if I could send you this book. Not sure why, but I had a strong urge to do so. I know I dont even really know you but I had a hunch it would be one you'd enjoy. Glad you have picked it up. I agree, these books are very mind expanding. Not for everyone. Yet - at least. And I dont think I would have gotten the full messages within The Course having not read these books first. I cant remember in which book, but his guides actually bring up the Conversations with God material briefly. Quite interesting. As I read Your Immortal Reality, I couldnt help but wonder if Linda was a Course student. In a "future time", I mean. Somehow tapping into it this time around.... "Let those who have eyes See and those who have ears Hear..." All things come in their appropriate Time (illusion though that is). Yes, very true. I get very excited when I read material such as this and want everyone to find out about it too. But I'm slowly getting better at realizing that everyone is on their own Timetable, one which is perfect for them. It's relieving when you finally understand this, something these books helped me out tremendously with. All things in good time. Still, that didnt stop me from buying copies and sending them to a few good friends. haha. Would you like Your Immortal Reality? I'd be happy to send it to you!! Just let me know. IP: Logged |

btw, I searched for ACIM group meetings awhile ago in the area, and found one that meets near Salem, MA. I'm not a group joining kind of person at all but maybe that will change as Jupiter enters Sag and my 11th house. Thought you might like to know.

Greetings...I actually just ordered Immortal on bn.com as I found a couple of gift certificates that I had from years past that I had not managed to cash in, so it is actually a belated Chritmas gift! But thank you for the lovely offer! Interesting that you thought of me in relation to this/these books... you must have been picking up on the vibe that it was getting to be close to "my time". And I think that is very cool! Still working on The Course and Disappearance... these are not quick reads, at least not for me, as I often find myself questioning/reasoning through/fighting with some of the material... fun to see the games that the ego will play, eh? All is well, I just got back from Hawaii, and am in transition again in terms of a job situation.. so I haven't been online much... I have enough drama at work! I have sent out 7 resumes and have heard back on only one so far, but being the holiday season, I'm not anticipating really quick turn around.. but I ordain a stress free and fulfilling job that will meeet and exceed my financial needs! Now, thank you very much! Hope all is well with you and you can e-mail me at: aselzion@hotmail.com Blessed Be... Hi A, What a nice surprise to find! And I guess it's only natural that I would think of someone such as yourself in relation to these books. No, these books are not quick reads. Although I read both Gary's books in one weekend. They were hard to put down and I was up late. They'll definitely be ones that I'll read again. And the Course, well I dont think it's possible to breeze through that one. As recommended, I'll be reading the Text thoroughly before starting the workbook. Yes, that ego's a sneaky little devil. Just when you think youre about to ascend off the planet, it shows up and puts you back in your illusory place. Hawaii?!! How exciting! I hope to make it there one day myself. Glad to hear things are going well for you. You will manifest that perfect job. I've recently left my job, too and plan on opening up a door to a job that more happily suits my inner being's true nature (and spending habits, lol). I've jotted down your email address. Thank you. Take care. Peace, IP: Logged |
