I was just reading how when transiting Pluto is square your natal Pluto, it's a bad idea to do any magic because you might not be able to control the energies. I'm just wondering out of curiosity, myself not being very well-versed in magic at all, if you couldn't control the energies then what kind of things would happen? It all sounds kind of freaky!

There are opportune moments to do magic, but ultimately no bad times (in my opinion).

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll

Interesting. astro.com says that magic could have disastrous results for someone in this transit - I ask because Pluto is currently square my boyfriend's Pluto, and I would worry about him getting back into magic given what I've just read. He's not that interested these days anyway, but I wouldn't like to be responsible for encouraging him into some sort of disaster or anything!

Astro.com should stick to astrology and lay off the magic. As long as your motives are pure, so will be the result.

Using astrological influences can add to the power of a spell, but nothing replaces good ol' fashioned concentration, desire, and intent.

How did it go?

Mind you, he is creating his own pagan and Egyptian graphics in Photoshop - so that's something to speak of.
