Ok... I must admit that I get put off from doing a spell if it involves too much preparation or if I'm going to have to go out and buy specific stuff in order to do it. Words and visualisations are about my limit, at least until I'm able to have some spare money to buy little things here and there, and when I'm less rushed for time. Seems like everything is a rush, I feel like I don't even get time to meditate! ANYWAY, I've done spells before which were supposed to have specific preparations and I never did those but just focused on the words and visualising, and it always seemed like those spells worked anyway. I don't know if that's really the correct way to do it though.

So, I'm just wondering if there are any spells out there for the lazy (and/or poor) ones of us that could be listed here! eg beauty spells that don't involve lots of candles and three mirrors type of thing...

I have found a book that I like that's very creative in the use of ingredients. Nothing is too expensive nor too labor intensive either.

The Supermarket Sorceress: Spells, Charms, & Enchantments That You Can Make From Supermarket Ingredients by Lexa Rosean

One still needs the proper frame of mind & preparation to call in what is asked for. Books & candles etc are only here for our human side as a focusing tool. If you feel daunted or tired at all don't do it! Wait for another time when you can give the proper conscious devotion to what you're doing. Otherwise one could possibly (unintentionally) invite unwanted, we'll call them attachments, into one's aura from just not paying attention and opening certain channels. Otherwise go for it

What did you have in mind?

------------------
`Who are you?' said the Caterpillar. This was not an encouraging opening for a conversation. Alice replied, rather shyly, `I--I hardly know, sir, just at present-- at least I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then.'

Oh well I was partly kidding about the word "lazy" - of course there would be no point if I wasn't mentally/psychically "there", cos I definitely am. I just mean that with very little time on my hands and a lack of money, I'm looking for spells that don't involve too much preparation. When I have more time, money, and personal space (I live with three others - one is my boyfriend - and have very little privacy), I'd want to get more detailed in what I'm doing.

I guess specifically I'm looking for things like beauty spells... nothing too serious, just 'nice' spells that do nice things.

Sounds like an interesting book.

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll

Scott Cunningham is a good author...

You do not have to spend much money, in fact, a BIG part of magic is the energy/emotion that you put into it!!!

Get creative, learn the basics of color, herbs, rocks, symbolism, visuaization and really, it does not have to cost you any$$$

Be-come familiar with the flora in you area...

Blessings
