I DID find my soulmate..

I had an ability to 'see' since I was a child. Amongst many other things i talked to a small blond headed boy when I was a little girl. I could see him sometimes in a kind of astral projection. I knew when and where he was born as i knew approximately when --

I nearly died when I was 5 and could see myself like a little golden puff flying over seas and oceans. I was being born elsewhere and yet I survived. A year later my Dad bought me a world atlas and i saw that i went to NE England and was born by the sea. This was 'me' born elsewhere. Through my childhood and adulthood I knew lots of details about this other 'me' who seemed born from my breath...

It took a lifetime to find him and I was 38 by the time I did. It meant being able to settle in England alone, complete my studies and find a job near or in Yorkshire... and accept that god would direct me in a way no astrology chart would.

You know, when I met him I did not confess I had been searching for him.... and he proposed to me in 11 days. We have been happily married for 5 years.

Our charts:

I am 21 Dec 65 Sun Moon Merc in Sag
He is 18 May 71 Sun in Taurus, Moon in Aquarius with Pisces asc

Venus is in his first house, I have the sun in mine.

I was just reading RANDALL's post -- a reply to an old thread about time travel. He hypothesizes that one can incarnate oneself again in the same life. I believe that is what happened when my adopted mother tried to kill me by suffocating me when I was 5 years old. God produced another 'me' whom I could connect to and then find. I even figured out his date of birth, astrologically. Since my mother was one month pregnant at the time he would have to be roughly a month younger than the child my adopted mother was carrying. If he was a Taurus then he would have to be born at a specific time and date to be compatible with me.

I must say he was very surprised when I said i knew his date of birth! We are incredibly the same person and constantly aware of it. SINCE WE ARE EVOLVED SOULS WHO APPRECIATE AND MAKE THE MOST OF OURSELVES, LIFE IS TRULY WONDERFUL. I am glad I waited 38 years... it's been worth the wait.

Wow! That sounds really amazing that you should remember or know of the person that you were going to marry since when you were a small child. I wonder why many other people cannot see or experience such things. Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones.

Cool story.

Recently a psychic told me I had already found mine. I told her I wasnt there to find out about my soulmate, but she kept talking about him. What a waste of money.

I think the idea of your soulmate has to evolve and become more human like. Perhaps the problem with people wanting to find a soulmate is that they have an idea of who that person is ie what they look like, sound like etc. Then when they meet a potential soulmate, because that person doesn't match up to those ideas they can dismiss it.

What I mean by that is if you are looking for your soulmate maybe you should aim to let go of any ideas of him/her to make the room in your heart for him/her to enter your life.

I look at my parner, not knowing if he is my soulmate but loving him deeply and thanking my soulmate for allowing my the time/space to love him (my partner).
I am developing the attitude that I am never going without and whatever the circumstances to look beyond them

SCC, this sounds just like what LEXX was talking about on the atlantis thread in UC...a part of you split off not to experience the death perhaps? except you didn't die! how amazing that you were able to be conscious of it happening and to find the person too...

Hmmm.....well....
not exactly what I was talking about.)

Sag-Cap cusp Hello!

Yours is an interesting experience to be sure.
I do have a few questions however.
When you were experiencing being a golden puff, were you seeing the puff like a viewer?
I personally do not feel this man is part of you.
However whilst on an OBE/NDE he found you perhaps and led you to where you would know he would be soon.
He was perhaps hanging around near you (but not tethered) before you almost died.
It could be you became tethered to him then.
And he to you.
Strong past life connection betwixt you two.
But like I said, not a part of you.
In general I would not recommend anyone joining up with a split off until each has experienced at the very least a few distinct and separate individual lifetimes. Also split offs do not connect easily. It often is quite unpleasant when they encounter each other in life. And they do NOT share the same memories, and communication is often near to impossible betwixt them.
Just my two cents based on rather intense research and personal experiences, into such matters for about 30 years to date...and personal experiences before researching it also going back at least 50 years to date.
If you and he cannot remember any past lives, you may be both people who always or usually died in childhood in past lives. This may be the first adult lives either of
you have experienced. It is rare, but it happens. Perhaps you were physical twins (very very likely, dying together or a a short time betwixt...and both before adulthood) in many lifetimes, perhaps close playmates, or siblings,...
these child bonds (of children who were emotionally close to each other and also died young, lifetime after lifetime)
These deep love bonds,
are some of the most deepest and pure,
a very rare soul love kind of connection.
I hope I have made sense and have not offended you, nor Randall and his theory.

I think lexx makes a good point.
When I was 5 mos. pregnant my babies father left me for another woman. We had been together by then for 5 years. The night he left I slept over at a girlfriends house. That night I had 3 concecutive, detailed and incredibly vivid past life dreams. In all three dreams he was responsible for my death. I never had to write those dreams down because they were so real I would never forget them. In short, we got back 2gether, married and had 2 more children. I know he is my soul mate and it is so difficult. It seems like never ending stuff to work out. Alot of splitting up and getting back, etc. I don't know why people assume a soul mate relationship is gonna be all wine and roses. That sure hasn't been my experience.
