If so, what did you think of it as compared to Twilight? I recently saw it and kept remembering the book Twilight over and over again (though I only read it once years ago). Angel saves a helpless woman by stopping a vehicle with his hand from hitting her. Like Bella the actress pierces the clues and says she's not afraid and wants to be like him while Angel (like Edward) resists and warns just how dangerous he is to her and how she can't know what it means. Likewise Angel follows the actress around and saves her from danger repeatedly despite showing an initial lack of interest just as Edward does to Bella because he's both scared of getting too close to her and (as a result) will kill her. Angel/us also can read people so well (as he does in this ep) that he might as well be able to read minds like Edward. Bella has low self esteem despite everyone loving her just like the actress did. Even the drugged drink making Angel temporarily into Angelus somehow felt like Edward getting all upset as the scent of Bella's blood intoxicated him (and made him not that nice and very dangerous to her). If anyone wants to see it (it should be easy to rent) it's on Disc 5 of Season 1. (If someone decides to do this without having ever seen Angel before then I'd suggest getting Disc 1 as well and watching that first to make sense of it, at least if you watch the other eps on Disc 5.) And btw, it occurs to me that the movie representation of Edward has a similar hairstyle as Angel and what are the odds of that? IP: Logged

You sparkled..." Granted, that's minor, but I'm really wondering if Meyer was a fan of Angel and gained some major inspiration (especially from the ep I mentioned in September), even if she felt it necessary to make some major alterations such as what kind of females are admirable.
