last lunch hour I thought I'd check out the local public library, and found the occult section and snooped around. There I found this book on commonplace religious magic in medieval time, and the protestant movement alienating magic, resulting in our ignorant mentality today. I thought that was an awesome thing to do; to study real magic's origin, and it's something I think I'll probably read. I was thinking how this sort of explains why America is totally totally brainwashed and you don't get any sort of Golden Dawn in New York or Toronto, because the protestant movement happened before colonization, and there's nothing built there that needs to be denied to support hollywood worshiping brainwashitude or whatever. While in the UK and Europe there's the past to stumble upon. So, I haven't read it but I've just found it, I thought it was relevant, so I thought I'd share it with anyone here who'd be interested.
