well... it's about the tooth-fairy rather, it's about tooth-fairies from the inside cover " On the darkest night, amidst a terrifying storm, Dinah's parents go missing. While anxious Dinah and her brother and sister worry and huddle for warmth, their cousin Gage tells them an unlikely story - about tooth fairies, known as skibbereen, who are living in warring colonies right in their neighborhood. According to Gage, the skibbereen put those teeth to good use. And Gage has met them. Dinah is skeptical, but as the story unfolds and the storm rages on, she begins to believe. " i'm not sure that the description accurately portrays the story - it mostly revolves around the main tooth-fairy, a lonely orphan skibbereen, who finds himself taken into one of the warring colonies and how he is constantly getting into trouble because he does not know the rules... but this turns out to be a blessing in the end ------------------ ...there is no "I"... Awww... ------------------ "The stars which shone over Babylon and the stable in Bethlehem still shine as brightly over the Empire State Building and your front yard today. ive never read that ...but i as a child did summon for a tooth fairy with the tooth that i lost on my palm and stretched my arm forward.. chanting - tooth fairy, toothfairy give me a new tooth! about 15 times looking at the sky! and then promptly buried my tooth. NEXT DAY MORN I WOULD BE SURPRISED TO FIND FEW SHINING CURRENCY COINS UNDERNEATH MY PILLOW.An indication that tooth fairy has acknowledged my request for a new, bright, white, straight and strong tooth!
