Memories of the Afterlife ~ Michael Newton

Must Love Dogs, by Claire Cook; Summer Blowout, by the same author. (I read on the back, "Claire Cook's characters aren't rich or glamorous - they're physically imperfect, emotionally insecure, and deeply familiar." If she lives up to that reputation, then she's my new hero amongst authors.)

I've just finished Carrie, and have two more ooks in teh same large book, to read: Salem's Lot (I last read it six years ago), and The Shining. (That's two more BOOKS in the same book; I'm trying to type around a large cat).
