Just finished "The Greek Treasure"
(Schliemann and Troy/Mycenae)

Started "The Circular Staircase"
by Mary Roberts Rinehart

Because of you guys, I brought out
"Star Signs" for a refresher.

Funny, I taught myself Astrology from my mother's books, Grant Lewi and Linda, so when "Star Signs" came out, I bought a copy for her. I used hers so much, I decided I had to buy my own!

Now I am going back and realizing just how formative that one really was!

Lovecraft "Tales" is next on the agenda...

AGAIN!!!

Finished "Lighthouse Tales." Received this from my son, it is based on my favourite lighthouse in the world, set in rhyme, and has a perfect storyline. The packaging was great, but the poetry unsatisfying.

Reading the second in the mystery omnibus, "The Man in Lower Ten." A little slow, but I do love mystery.

Started "To the Lighthouse" by Virginia Woolf last night.

Still refreshing with "Star Signs" slowly and leisurely.

Read a bit of a Heaven Knows What chart too. Does that count?

I've finished two large Stephen King books in the past six weeks - a big feat for me now, with my attention span being the way it is.

I'm now reading:

The latest Kinsey Millhone book
"It" by Stephen King (also The Shining, Salem's Lot, and Carrie in another book)
Lord of the Flies
The Exorcist
The Artist's Way
The Handmaid's Tale
Ghost Story (a re-read)

I'm reading a boxset of Mystery Novellas. It is called Mystery Quartet; because there are four volumes, and I read the first one.

Women Sleuths
Great British Detectives
Locked Room Puzzles
Police Procedurals

I'm almost done with the second, since the Stupid Storm stole my LindaLand for WAY too long the last two days.

Can you spell Stupid, Stinking Retrograde?

Hrumph.

Forgive the lack of animation from me today.

It's great that you will have Gooberz.

Hope you get soon.

Finished the third one (Police Procedurals) and started the fourth (Locked Room Puzzles.)

Really can't wait for "Gooberz" to come.

Locked Rooms can be Really Boring.

Turns out "Locked Room Puzzles" was better as it went on.

Glad I didn't give up on it, cause now it's interesting.
