What's your favorite movie and movie quote? My favorite movie is Secret Garden and Little Princess. My favorite quote from Little Princess is "all girls are princesses." From Secret Garden, my favorite quote is "everything grows beautiful. Even if it doesn't start out beautiful, it will bloom to be beautiful." ------------------ Music is well said to be the speech of angels.~Author Unknown IP: Logged |

You see,I can never decide on a favorite movie,so I just...choose them all!I used to really like Star Wars, still a bit but not so much anymore...I can't wait for the next LotR movie, and I'm hopeful that the second Harry Potter will never come out(the books are fine, just not the movie)I like The Matrix,my favorite comedy is Zelig;Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon is great,Behind Enemy Lines was quite palatable, and Brother,Where Art Thou? was okay. Does anyone like Jacki Chan? Some of his movies are really good, others are really bad.Take Rush Hour vs.Rush Hour 2 or Rumble in the Bronx, for example.Shanghai Noon is pretty good by Chan standards. I really like Moulin Rouge,Fantasia,Fantasia 2000( the Pines of Rome peice is soo beautiful-those whales made me tingle with happiness and joy)Pocahontas has an incredible amount of energy, and Alladin and Anastasia are great kid movies. I can barely remember exact quotes from any movie,but...let's see... "Wars do not make one great" and "I've got a bad feeling abou this"-Star Wars "When in doubt,Frodo, follow your nose"-The Fellowship of the Ring "And I recall his yellow cat!" "I don't believe we told her that..."-AnastasiaIP: Logged |

I always thought "The Little Mermaid" was a very good movie. It has a lot of hidden messages and symbolization. That song "Part of Your World," it just sounds so Universal.-StarLover IP: Logged |

I like all those movies! I like Little Mermaid also. But i think the first movies are better than the sequels. Like Pocahontas 2 wasn't half as good as Pocahontas and i won't even tell you what i think of Cinderella 2! I like Jacki Chan a lot! Especially the cartoon! I liked Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon a lot! And i LOVE the Matrix. But i think it's kind of bogus that all sorts of movies are stealing moves from them, like Shrek when that girl stops in mid air to swoosh her two braids. Although the Harry Potter movie didn't have as much as the book (even though it was a 3 hour movie), i thought it was awesome. I liked it when they did the quiditch. The books are better because they have more stuff. I can't wait for the 2nd one to come out in November! I LOVE, absolutely LOVE Moulin Rouge! I love all the music in it! You can just feel the love in that movie. I almost cried at the end. ------------------ Music is well said to be the speech of angels.~Author Unknown IP: Logged |

Has anyone seen Legally Blonde or Princess Diaries? I loved those movies!"A butthead? No one has called me a butthead since 9th grade!"--Emmett in Legally Blonde. "Believing in yourself never goes out of style."--quote on the Offical site for Legally Blonde. "I just want my foot to pop."--Mia in Princess Diaries. "Just incase I'm not enough of a freak already, let's add a tiara!"--Mia in Princess Diaries. ------------------ Music is well said to be the speech of angels.~Author Unknown IP: Logged |

I haven't seen any of those original Disney movies for a long time, guess I should. Shrek was hilarious!I loved the scene where it mocks the Matrix! It made fun of everything...but I didn't like it when the little bird blew up... IP: Logged |

I love movies!!! I mean, I know everyone pretty much does, but I *really* do! In fact, I want to be a movie critic when I'm older. To get some practice I'm going to do movie reviews in my school's newspaper this year. I can't wait! I especially like old movies...have any of you guys seen them? I bet some of the adults lurking around this forum have. But, of course, new movies are awesome, too. ------------------ And I can only be who I am in this suit of skin/cause we can only be who we are in our suit of scars/and we don't need any superpowers to see through these clothes/everybody, everybody knows/where the flowers grow. I felt exactly the same way about Charlie's Angels. Not exactly the deepest movie ever made, but I had the time of my life watching it. I really enjoyed it. IP: Logged |

We saw Austin Powers for my birthday last night. The 2nd 1 was better than the 1st!QS, i thought Spiderman was great! Why did u think it was stupid? Why were u flying? Are your parents divorced too? I have to go to my daddy's in the summer and live with Mommy. GLLF, that sounds like fun! Maybe one day u can review something i do! ------------------ Music is well said to be the speech of angels.~Author Unknown IP: Logged |

Yes LT,my parents are divorced-one in California, one in Vermont.I visit my dad(VT) during the summer, and I was flying back to California. Stupid is to strong a word for Spiderman-I take it back!It was an entertaining super-hero movie. I've wanted to be a film critic, too,GLLF,and I also want to act and direct. Is that what you're talking about,LT?Sounds like fun!Have you got a script? Done any filming yet?Entered into a contest?------------------ "When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on"-Thomas Jefferson IP: Logged |
