What do you like and dislike about school? What's your favorite subject? Do you have to wear uniforms?

Thankfully,no uniforms!!! I would die if I had to wear a uniform.
Personally,I find school a little boring. So much routine, people telling me things I already know or couldn't care less about...hopefully,highschool(which I'm just going into)will be better.
One subject I really do need to pay more attention to is math.Sometimes I understand it and it's so easy I actually like it,other times my head feels like imploding and I want a calculator(we aren't allowed calculators in my school). And luckily,I had a pretty cool teacher in grade school-one day,he started a class discussion on Atlantis! And during another class,we started talking about abortion and then an argument started about the Bible. One guy just couldn't understand that the Bible goes back WAAAAYY farther then the King James version.
My classmates were pretty cool,I'll know some of them in highschool,of which I am muy mucho grande glad(as you can see,I always fall asleep in Spanish). All of them are into astrology,at least up to the ankles, and we're all friends.
School is good,it just lacks excitement.
Little Tiger-I love your quote!!It's true...*sob*

I agree with you. I HATE uniforms! We don't have them but my little sister has to wear them at her school. I warn you, in high school you'll carry a real heavy backpack. I have a big brother and he had marks from his backpack! He had to go to the chiropractor once a month cuz of his back problems from his backpack! I'm going into middle school. Any advice you can give me? I hate math and love writing. I won the writing award for best writer of my school last year when i graduated from 5th grade! I love music class. I had a solo in the school play last year and it was the only female solo. In middle school they stick you in whatever for 6th grade but my Mom made sure I'll be in music instead of whatever.

Forgive my clulessness, but what's middleschool??Maybe I'm falling asleep more than I think if I don't know what middle school is.. Wait-going into 6th grade?Hmm,I don't remember what 6th grade was like for me,but it must have been similar to 5th and 7th,neither of which was that great.Anyway, have fun-that's my Golden Rule!
Toward the end of 8th grade,my teacher kinda forgot to give us homework,so I haven't carried a heavy backpack for ages.I'm supposed to get five hours of homework a day(!!!aaaaaaaaaaaaaa)in highschool...how do you manage that???I have a life,ya know!!!!!!!
Ooh!last year,my class put on As You Like It,and I was Duke Senior!84 lines of Shakespearian gobbledygook for me to memorize! But no music for me to make...but I was in Choir ,and we had a good Choir teacher;I want to learn to sing better.
I agree, writing is soo much better than math.I'm good at it too or at least, better than I am at math...

Ya I had a lot of back pain coming home from school. Which I know isn't a good sign, but I don't think I'll go to a chiropractor. High School is boring I have three stupid years left, I just want to rush through them so bad. All I want to do is go to college and beyond!

I really love meeting friends in school. School is my time to be real social of course not when class is in session . I also like my fellow students in my class always had a respect for me probably because I always gave respect both to my teachers and to my peers my teachers respect me too! I'm really happy to be through with high school and now Im about to go to college so it's like 'what am I going to expect' but I like school the only thing I didn't like about school is that the the children always babied me (and pinch my cheeks, make 'em red )That I didnt like and when I was in elementry scool children used to pick on me because I was always smaller than the rest of the children (thank goodness I caught up and Im like average height now) but I had it hard in elementry although I had a few friends in elementry it wa still hard! The best school days of my life was Junior High School and High School those where the days! I wonder how college is going to be! It was nice chatting!

I hope you all enjoy school much better (and better yet )as you progress in life as well!

Oh my gosh! This was so funny and i had to tell you about it. I had math homework and needed help with a problem. When Mommy looked at it she said it didn't make any sense. She wrote on my paper where i was supposed to do the problem "Did an educated person actually write this problem?" Then she signed it and put her phone number. I couldn't stop laughing! I couldn't wait to give it to my math teacher! When i gave it to her, she made a face and didn't understand. Then she read the question and started laughing and told me to tell my Mom she agrees. Then she read it to the whole class! Everyone started laughing! I still can't believe Mommy did that! I bet my teacher has never had a student turn anything like that in before! My math teacher is my homeroom teacher and Mommy is our room Mom so when Mommy went in for a meeting my teacher guessed that Mommy went to college just from her note! They were both laughing over it and then other teachers and room parents wanted to know why they were laughing so now everyone knows and asks me about it!
