Some believe that the Islands of Azores were once part of Atlantis (pieces that were left!)
If you know anything about Geography they are the islands near Portugal. My whole family is from there my dad is from an island called Flores it's extremely small and you can actually see all the STARS at night! Well it's named for it's beautiful flowers and it has a wonderful coastline.-StarLover IP: Logged |

I just came up with a theory: maybe the reason civilization is destroyed periodically is because everyone's Karma gets so entangled,the only way to clear it is for everyone to die together and start all over again.Then someone does something bad and gets the Karmic ball rolling,and everyone's Karma gets all tangly,until its so interwoven it's hopeless.

I was just reading Star Signs the other night and Linda mentioned that Atlantis will be found in the Pacific Ocean. Isn't that strange? Then never mind it could never be Azores!IP: Logged |

Maybe there were civilizations all over the world that are now lost,and we call them all Atlantis.One civilization in the Atlantic,one in the Pacific,some more scattered around in various other places(like the South China Sea or the Andes).------------------

Been doing some research. It seems like the only really valid piece of evidence the Atlantoligists have managed to turn up, which nobody can dispute, is that cultures all over the world remember Atlantis- by various names, of course, but it's all the same story. I think that the middle of the Atlantic is still the best place to look for it.I wonder what the Raelians have to say on Atlantis? ------------------

Thanks, Fajita! I like doing research, as long as I understand the topic and information isn't too hard to find. I'm researching China at the moment, for something at school; I like the feeling of orginization I get when I'm puttign together a binder of info. For Atlantis: most of the info on the web is rather bad. I recommend "The World's Last Mysteries" or "Ancient Mysteries", by I Forget Who, if you want to see Atlantis debunked. Pro- Atlantis theory information is so plentiful nobody should have trouble finding sites or books for it. There is a book called "Weird Science Mysteries" that offers a fifty- fifty view of the debate, which I thought was rather fun. Just in case anyone is interested in my two cence. sence. sense. cince? since.  sents. cinse. Whatever. Guess today isn't my day for spelling, folks.  ------------------

heehee that's OK we know what word you meant. I love research too! I used to go to the library after high school and read and learn stuff, I loved it b/c in school we were told what to learn but in the library I could learn whatever I wanted!!! ------------------
