okay okay, books have been covered and i'd quite like to know what music everyone is into.

maybe we could list our favorite bands and recommend a song or something. it seems to me you can tell a lot about a person from the music they listen to (although thats not alway the case- one of my best friends just confessed she liked Busted! yuck im so ashamed! they're a horrible crappy brit "rock" punk pop rubbish, but she's my friend so i let it go)

personally my top ten are:
pearl jam
radiohead
green day
foo fighters
stone temple pilots
smashing pumpkins
muse
hell is for heroes
our lady peace
and... the darkness

i would recommend pearl jam: state of love and trust as possible the best song in the world

Umm...bands?
Okay, my favorite is Undecided. They're a local group from my school, I'm not really familiar with any other bands.

What do you think of Bob Marley? He's an artist, not a band.

Just thought I'd mention that Incubus is an awesome band too. I got 'Morning View' on the spur of the moment a week ago since I've been telling myself I should buy it for a year and never remembering to- and they're quickly becoming my favorite band. For some reason they've got a very Aquarian vibe. Especially in their 'Make Yourself' album- practically all of the songs on there have to do with rebellion and thinking outside of the box.

Thanks Zerep. You should definitly invest in the Coldplay albums, they're a terrific band. Travis is okay, they can be pretty cheesy, but for some unknown reason I like them.

Eeee! Someone that's actually heard of The Tea Party! They're such a great band. Best song would probably have to be Heaven Coming Down or Drawing Down the Moon.

Yep, I've got the latest Travis album. I liked it a lot more than the others, it's a bit edgier. Really worth it. The first track would probably be on my top ten favorite songs. The fifth track too- it's such a beautiful song, that one.

I have a new fave band/artist as of yesterday: Rufus Wainwright. Son of some other famous singer, he has a gorgeous voice and his music is sophisticated. Or not. Anyway, check out "Hallelujah" and "Matinee Idol".

This is the lyrics to their first single, coming out Jan. 26

Posted: Jan 25, 2004 12:26 AM

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Caught In A Dream

Now, if you can imagine this, the whole world sharing one big kiss
These are thoughts all through my brain, that I daydream everyday
That I'm alive and well, and right now, I'm alive, I'm feeling...well
It's my life to live my way, so I'll keep daydreaming away
And who knows, maybe someday, it will all come true
And I will get my way, and we will live as one

I'm caught up in a dream, I'm gonna wish for it all
No one's gonna tell me how, no way, this is my dream now
I'm caught up in what seems simply impossible
I ain't gonna change a thing, no way, it's my dream

And what cannot will be done, for every living thing under the sun
Forget color, forget race, and just be one big happy face
Among this sea of people, live among God's creatures, sharing love
That was sent down from above, here to share with one another
Father, brother, sister, mother, everybody sharing love, sharing love

I'm caught up in a dream, I'm gonna wish for it all
No one's gonna tell me how, no way, this is my dream now
I'm caught up in what seems simply impossible
I ain't gonna change a thing, no way, it's my dream, this is my dream

What if...I close my eyes and everything will be alright
Here in my fantasy, living in harmony
Make my dream come alive

I'm caught up in a dream, I'm gonna wish for it all
No one's gonna tell me how, no way, this is my dream now
I'm caught up in what seems simply impossible
I ain't gonna change a thing, no way, it's my dream
I'm caught up in a dream, I'm gonna wish for it all
No one's gonna tell me how, no way, this is my dream now
I'm caught up in what seems simply impossible
I ain't gonna change a thing, no way, it's my dream

Now, if you can imagine this, the whole world sharing one big kiss
Take away the pain and hurt, make like heaven here on earth
Without reason to die, and given everlasting life for all

Listen to it here!

Hey Everlong I know the lead singer of Incubus is an Aquarius. I'm not sure about any other Aquarian influences within the band...
