i swear everyone in Canberra is going absolutely BONKERS! for that matter...everyone in australia has already GONE bonkers! everyone i mean EVERYONE is trying to look wog. i dont even really know what wog is but apparently i am it because im serbo-croatian puhLEASE being "wog" just gives guys the rigth to act like sleazes with ICKY YUCKY slimy hair and girls seem to think that acting as trashy as possible is the true wog way to do it. not only that their all saying that their "croatian" BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA its just grinding my nerves sooo much! so annoying and everyone around me keeps saying FULY SIK! its everywhere! im gonna go crazy...
then theres the thing that all the worst offenders..ie the "real" wogs or "cros" are hte biggest jack a$$es of all time...i dont really know why im rambling i just am....sorry.
but do you find that in your school? people just start thinking their from BRAZIL if thats the popular thing to be...blah one of my friends who is PNG is saying shes ITALIAN! italian!! its sooooo........grrrrr

why wont they be REAL! i just want REAL people around me!

Yes the 'wog' trend has gone notorious esp teenagers. My younger sister isnt even from european backround and still thinks she is a 'wog', she'll grow out of it, its just peer pressure thing and fitting in is important for them.
They think the only way to make friends is to be like them, which creates only a superficial type friendship, but when you can be you then you can have a real friendship. I cant really understand why people just cant be themselves, I have tried talking it out with my sister, but she refuses to listen. But Its only a stage, I know she'll get over it. You can't change them yourself, you must be tolerant and understand its only a phase, and you should just worry about being you! It used to bother me, then I asked myself why?

In U.S.A people care about looking like their favorite Hip Hop artists and they try to act ghetto by saying their from the hood. In U.S.A, rap music is extremely popular.

to look wog....hmmm well seeing as most people here who say they are wog are actually "auzzies" they look like this:

they have LOTS of fake tan on...they all have died black or dark brown hair, they all wear lots of BRONZER on their face, black eyeliner is a must...with pink eyeshadow or some other candy color on top *ugh*... then they wear lots of Kappa or Adidas or Puma...but its all basically black or dark blue and the pants are always rolled up, worn with thongs, and a going out top...it sounds like rappers but they all walk around with fake Italian accents saying Fully Sik...or talking about their sub woofers. :S
a real wog is someone who is from Italy or Greece i think...but now its mostly Croatians saying they are wogs and so forth...cant explain it its weird.

Interesting...

Like I said Hip Hop is very big in our country. Most of the boys want to look like rappers from the ghettos (poor regions) of New York and Los Angeles because that is where all the music artists come from. I'm thinking that in Australia they look like that because of a certain type of music. I personally don't like rap music, but it's something you can't ignore either.

Girls vary from place to place! Some girls are really wearing low cut jeans so people can see their thongs. They wear tighter blouses with lots of cleavage as denim jeans remain extremely popular. I also noticed a huge popularity in belly button rings because Britney Spears used to sport one. They're all harmless trends though.

ya i kno its all harmless. mostly i just find it funny but it just aggravated me...i suppose another part of it is that they think im 'weird' or must be 'psychotic' because im serbo-croatian...because those two cultures hate each other... i dont think im really offended im glad im both, otherwise i would have to pretend to hate the other...and to me their all the same anyway...the borders have changed so much were all bosnian/yugoslavian/serbian/croatian lol.

soz if i seemed too brash about it, it just got on my nerves.

Where I'm from, there are two ends of the spectrum for guys: the hypermasculine punks (like you mentioned, Star) and the more feminine metrosexuals and wannabe-gays. Many of the punk/ghetto-folk are silly white-boy posers. The metrosexuals are only slightly lamer.

Anyway, I can't wait for the wog trend to hit the U.S.- I may know one already, I'll have to watch her and decide.
What does wog mean for boys? Please tell me they have to wear eyeliner too! If and when it hits, I will make of point of NOT having a tan. And of course, an accent is just out of the question.

i dont know how to describe them really, their usualy Greeks, Italians, Croatians, and Lebs and macos....or to be more correct...TRY HARD Greeks italians cros and lebs

their favourite phrases are things such as "fully sik" "come here chicky babes" "sub woofa" "WRX (or any other modified car) " "cruzin" so on
i have to say their fashion sesne is somewhat like the whole rapper thing, but their trackies arent nearly as huge, always rolled up, and they usually wear a white or black "muscle" shirt (but its hopelessly awful as they dont bother to get any muscles) and a thick gold chain,it either has a cross on it or nothing..and yes lots of fake tan is used! that includes the girls...but htey also have the prerequisite of having to be a brunette but fake blonde lol

at my high school last year we had a color code...but it was basically the wog uniform anyway black bottoms white tops...lol
color code doesnt really do anything...you just have to wear boring colors every day...and to get out of it your parents just had to write a note...or if your in yr 10 none of the teachers get you anywa lol

at my college now theres no restrictions...and people have cars...the whole building shakes when the wogs set off their subwoofas in the parking lot!

Hmm... so it's not classy or tasteful, but at least it looks comfy. I think it's cute. I want a wog boyfriend.
On the other hand, the accent and stupid slang ("subwoofa?!?" omg, save us from the idiots) would really get to me. Stylistically it's much less baggy and oversize than hip-hop.

o yes they can definately be good looking, their all dark and handsome...well mostly...except for the grease balls *shudder*
But their ususally not very nice to go out with...theyr only interested if they find out you already like them...they cant be bothered going after a girl that will actually take some work...u kno? they dont try to impress because the think their "all that" and any girl would loooove to be liked by them

although i have noticed the REAL wogs ie people who actually are italian and what-not tend to be much nicer...you can actually talk to them and their very respectful...i guess their pretty "over it" becuase its just the way they like to dress..their not "trying" to be anything or act like anything.

Theres this girl at college now and she apparently "hates" me because i'm serbo-croatian...see she hates serbs...what an idiot, my friend (who is very worried about appearances and being popular) came to me all worried saying that hte girl doesnt like me...i kinda shocked her when i had no idea who she was talking about!

hmmm...i like being oblivious lol!
its pretty good im hardly sef conscious this year at all (finally!) i snorted really loud in business class the other day...and i couldnt give a damn! lol it was hillarious!

hmmm im not sure really...its not a nationality...its just a generelization of European people who have big noses, dark hair (or blonde hair sometimes) who dress and act a certain way...i think that about sums it up...
