I love art! Do you like art? I love Photography, and poetry and exspression, beauty, wonder, and all the such things that make existence extra nice! What do you think? Art is my escape, my only defence aginst the cold, cruel world that is out to kill expression and free thought. I feel it every day. I want to open up and make the world a better place. What about you, what do you plan on doing for the earth? Every little bit counts!

Wonderful topic, DeepIYM!!! I u!

Art is the crowning jewel of the world's wonders, and music is queen of the arts.

I like all kinds of art. I've joined art class I've always considered languages & litterature art too. I visisted the Louvre last year for my birthday, it was a great treat ! It's huge too.
I love photography also, although when it comes to practise I'm not very good. I enjoy sketching though. I like Symbolism, Abstract, Fauvism & Pop Art. I have to present something on Surrealism example Salvator Dali etc but I'm really into it.

I'm such an abstractionist. At the moment, I have a 4'x4' piece of it sitting in my garage- plywood, red, purple, blue, yellow, black, and brown paint, and steel railroad spikes. It's waiting for an art show.

Z- Isn't the Louvre right next to several other very famous art museums?

I love all types of art, though I prefer literary and musical arts. I love observing visual art, but when it comes to participation I prefer music and literature.

Well... It could be the basis of my financial living, and not only Model Photography, but portraits in general. From the model’s perspective: I feel that Photography is a good way to see how someone else views you. Although in America, such things have become exploited, I'm am so sad to say that Photography itself has been exploited. I won't do that kinda of stuff, For me it's expression, I want to make my nudity classy, or my clothing shots eloquent. Not just sex sells. I would like it if our society was a little more free and aware though, half the people who look at these advertisements don't understand the repercussions and consequences that go with them. you know? So basically my point has gone from Model Photography to advertisements invading personally space in a phargraph, better stop while I'm ahead.

I do have a question though? why do you ask? have you thought about this your self, do you have a friend that's thinking about it? or... Are you thinking about the photography. I could go on for hours...

I asked out of interest in both photography and modelling (in other words, vanity ). It'd be wonderful to be only an artistic photographer, but most have to survive by catering to what people want- portraits, glamor pics, tourist postcards, etc. The challenge is to do everything beautifully, no matter how mundane it is.

It's based on the first movement of the Shostakovich cello concerto, which I played about a year ago as part of an orchestra. It's such a visual piece... it created these pictures in my mind that I couldn't get rid of. Eventually I just had to put them into physical form, and surprisingly it turned out almost exactly the way I saw it. It is 48 inches by 48 inches, a piece of plywood with a staircase pattern of wood rectangles running from top left to bottoom right, punctured by four spikes, painted brown/red/black/purple/yellow, with the words "communism sucks" written faintly across the middle. Everything on it mirrors some aspect of the music, the perpendicular nature of the concerto. Each splash of paint is indicative of a mood or a musical figure.

The art show opens in two days.

I'm very attached to abstractionism in any of its forms, sculpture, paint, drawing, construction, music... I love it.

Et tu?

Why me? I hate Art (J/K) I'm in such a good mood right now. I love art, I love it I love it I love it. Getting in touch with my feelings is so importune and that is why I love it so much. I'm not a logical person and I just descovered how to use that to work well with different varitys of people today. I wonder If I'll be able to keep my self in a good state like this for a while... I'm starting to study Buddha, and I don't think so. I love taking pictures of people, they are the most intersting things on the planet. Yea sure you can take a senery, or an object, But people always have more depth. And that's why I think I love to take Portrits so much.

SO tomorrow night is prom... I'm so goiong with Liberty Spikes as long as 8 inches. And I'm not taking anyone but my camera... Don't have to buy tickets for "her" or get "her" a Corsage, or worrying about keeping "her" happy. I'm just free to be me and that's wonderful!
