So, as it is now the first of August, back to school season has probably officially started. School starts for me on the sixteenth, and... I'm actually kind of happy. Although I won't enjoy not being able to sleep 12 hours a day. I'll be a sophmore this year, which means I finally get to make fun of ickle freshmen! So, are you happy about going back to school? Not? Any exciting classes this year? Scared about SATs, PSATs? I'm actually pretty excited about two of my classes, AP Psychology and AP Euro History- I love learning about human nature and history, so yeah =D. ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." Noooooooooooooooo. Say it isn't so? School sucks, and most of it is a waste of my time. I'm looking forward to the Fall though.Oh well, this year I'm a senior. So I'm really not allowed to cry this time around. It goes by so fast. I think I found an awesome college for sure this time. Hopefully, I'll be living in the city of Boston next year. -StarLover IP: Logged |

No.. I'm not looking forword to going bsck to school. For some reason, I just don't feel comfrtable there... So I clam up and don't make any friends. The only place I feel alright is in the darkroom, but I got kicked out for being insubordanate... As in the teacher doesn't know anything and I had to correct her before She ruined more peoples film but instead got sent down to the principals office. And more people ruined their film. See my delema?I agree with StarLover33 School Sucks Randall III IP: Logged |

Well, I guess my secret is just that I love to learn. It's just like- if you give me a terrific teacher that knows how to make his/her field interesting to the average joe, that's all you need to hook me in. Hell, it doesn't matter what subject it is, if that teacher knows how to deal with students and make it interesting, you have me. That's what happened last year. I had a phenomenal teacher for AP Human Geography. We learned about stuff that I think is incredibly boring, like industrialism and the tertiary sector and urbanization, but man, I loved every second of it.Course, it's very hard to find teachers like that in our *explicit* education system, but I'm lucky to have a school that has some gems. For subjects that I really like though, it doesn't matter if I have a bad teacher or not, I'll still love it. For heaven's sakes, even his lectures on agriculture had me on the edge of my seat. This teacher was one-of-a-kind though, and I don't think I'll ever get another one like him. Unfortunately, I am teh lazy bum procrastinator, which doesn't mix well with homework, heh. So, just because I'm crazy about learning, doesn't mean I make As in everything. I guess the secret is to be a big dork like me and like to learn? Oh, and a non-educational reason for liking school. I love mixing and observing everyone. I don't talk to people besides my friends/aquitances, but I just love watching the dynamics. I dunno, I'm weird, don't ask. ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." IP: Logged |

What are you talking about? Being Weird? I'm not sure I understand... I Watch people all the frickin' time. The so... funny, strange? weird? hmmm... DIVERSE. Yea that's the word. So much to em' know what I mean?OH AND ABOUT LOVING TO LEARN? When it comes to photography... I'm a d*mn Encyclopedia... Plus all the other things I have in my head... Like astronomy, Psychology, Art, Many things in general... I just hate sitting in a class and doing stupid **** ... Like reading a d*mn book. Just like I was telling Juniperb Before in my Spirituality and high school post. I'd rather be on the camera, than reading about it. I need hands on. You know the funniest thing about you is you think your strange, and I'm sure to an extent you are, but who isn't? even those populars have there quarks... I'm sure you as a Pisces can read into that. It's just a matter of how you express your self! I love diversity personally. Why? because you learn more. If your hangin' around the same ol' buds "what's up dude?" "mah, not much dude" "So dude? wanna play some video games? or go hit up that party?" "Sure dude, Let's go" "maybe I could score with Kristen dude." "Huh! she is pretty hot, man" And that's basically it for the suburbs... Weird. I'm so happy I live right in Denver. RIII IP: Logged |

Oh and last year... I had an AP European History teacher "To Die For." So of course he comes all decked out in Viking Battle armor. Chain mail, Sword, Helmet, and all... You should have seen how passionately he talk about The battle of Water Loo during the Period of the Napoleonic ReignIP: Logged |

I start sometime in September... nice and late, hm? I think I have finally attained the degree of wisdom where in I no longer look forward to school, having learned from bitter experience that it's NEVER FUN BY THE END OF THE YEAR. So I'm trying not to think about it.------------------ Hello everybody! I used to be QueenofSheeba and then I was Apollo and now I am QueenofSheeba again (and I'm a guy in case you didn't know)! Dude, I woke up this morning with freckles on my nose. Which is really odd, considering I've never had freckles and I'm Medittaranean. But I've been out in the sun for hours this week because of band camp, so I guess that's what happens?School starts for me on Monday, or atleast, I'm hoping it still does after Charley hits Florida. It'll just pass us though, we're only going to get bad thunderstorms down here. Lunchtime? So not fair, thirdbenjamin, I have to wake up at 5:30 everyday ><. IP: Logged |

I'm actually looking forward to going back, not for the work of course but to see my friends. I made such a good group last year... Any time before that, the friends I made were never that important but last year was different. And I'm looking forward to see my boyfriend too.IP: Logged |

Heh, it turns out to be my sunburn that was brown was just peeling off in weird patches. Anywho. School started on Monday, and I'm already insanely sleepy, but I'm really happy with my classes so far, and because all I can think about right now is school:English II Hons- Teacher has no personality, but she seems nice, so hopefully I won't have to give to much of my time to that class. AP Psychology- Teacher again has no personality, she's nice, but very blah and that makes me feel blah. HOWEVER! I lovelovelovelove this subject and I love our textbook. AP European History- Our teacher is awesome. She's really young, has a thick New York accent, and is just like, really really interesting and good at teaching and I love her since she gave us a terrific assignment for Friday- a report on a Renaissance artist, not on their life, but on how what they did influenced society. She got out a picture of the Last Supper and we started talking about it, very fun. French II- is very small and relaxed, laid back. Nice. Yeah, I just thought I'd share since I'm in that period in the first couple of days when you're really excited about school- it'll wear off : D. ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." Yea.... Yea... School starts tomorrow, and If I want to have the mormom Scorpio, I'm going to have to get better grades, oh, and go to college too. So just as Everlong (I love that name Everlong) I'll give you the run down on the mundainities<(made up word)Eng 12-standard English class for seniors. Adv Acting-I told my acting teacher I was good at manipulation and she put me in advanced acting. It was funny. Sociology-I'm sure I’ll be able to find this interesting, but I want to do more hands on experiments, not book work, ugh, book work. Choir men-I might drop this, I might not, the ladies love a guy who can sing. Creative writing- One class I will most defiantly enjoy! Newspaper-This's where that girl is, The Mormon Scorpio with a crazy sex drive... Plus I like photo Journalism. Well Dinner, I guess. My last breaths of summer vecation are desending upon me... I’m going to go dancing, later. Randall III IP: Logged |
