I need professional help. I am such an IDIOT. I procrastinate every single assignment I have, and it's really taking a toll on me- I've only been getting about three hours of sleep every weeknight. It's ridiculous, you would think I would learn- but no, says I, I'll wait to do my work before I go to the bus stop so that I can have to run like an Olympian to get there on time.I have a book report due on Wednesday on a 400 page book that I picked- Catch-22. Terrific book so far, but I haven't had time to read it. I'M ONLY ON PAGE 133 AND I HAVE TO START THE REPORT TODAY. I am le dumb*ss. Have any procrastination woes? ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." IP: Logged |

Yeeeeuup yupyupyup.. the thing is I delay doing certain things because other things seem to have priority at the time then you get caught up with doing something else before you get back to what you were meant to be doing after the first thing was done. PRIORITISING - I'm suprisingly good and bad at it What book is it lovely? ------------------ "The past is history, the future is a mystery, & this moment is a gift.. that's why it's called 'the present'." Heh, sorry, all of the stuff happening over in GU, forgot about this forum . Well, after I posted my last post, I started the report. I had the plot summary, which was the longest part of the report done, and I had two hours left of school, so I decided that would give me enough time to do the other parts. And then... my computer decides to freeze on me. I felt like screaming bloody murder, because I HATE having to do an assignment twice. And the fact that this report was due in two hours. So I went to school late to not have to go to English, and then when I got home Wednesday I just thought, all right, I'll start it later. I, being the moron that I am, just waited until 2 again. Then I realized that I knew nothing about the most important part of the report that I had to do, that I couldn't write it if I hadn't read the book (which I thought I could have). I realized that the whole report was going to be crap if I didn't read the book, even the plot summary. So I stayed home today, even though I really didn't want to because I've been missing too much school, so that I can read the book and do it. No more procrastinating for me, right now I'm reading the book and the minute I'm done with it I'm writing my report. Ugh, I'm so stupid sometimes, I had a whole month to do this! IP: Logged |
