that I don't really want a boyfriend right now? Cause I was told by someone that it's not normal for a 16 year old girl to not want to be in a relationship. I mean, don't get me wrong, there's a line up of guys that I have major crushes on, but they're either a) in relationships or b) don't like me back. Why would I want to be with someone who doesn't want to be in a relationship with me? It just wouldn't be real. I'm single, and I was unhappy with it for years, but now I've learned how to enjoy it. Why should I add on the extra stress of being in a relationship with a boy who likes other girls? I'm 16, I'm still a kid, I don't want to have a boyfriend just for the sake of having one..and I don't need one yet. Is this bad? I want to find a guy who loves me that I can love in return, someone I can develop a true, meaningful relationship with. Does this make me weird in any way?

Yes! Thank you..I've been waiting for that kind of answer for the longest time. I was talking to a friend who was having girl problems and I told him that there are a few guys I have full blown crushes on...but I don't want a relationship right now..and he told me "wow..there must be something wrong with you then." But there's not..that's the thing. There's nothing wrong about not wanting a boyfriend right now. Why add the extra stress? I was unhappy with being single for the longest time..and now I'm flying solo and loving it! Once I find a guy who likes me, and if I like him back, I will be in a relationship with him and I will love him with all my heart. Of course it doesn't mean I can't have crushes and fantasies right now.....(-; lol.

HEYYY it's perfectly ok to not want a boyfriend. I didn't want a boyfriend til I was 18 years old, out of school and completely bored. Then it suddenly seemed like a good idea should I be embarassed?? nahhh i ain't worried about it lol...hun more power to ya I say!!!! Never ever think you're weird just 'cause someone else thinks so. I personally love my weirdness...if I weren't weird I'd be boring and who wants to be boring?? Not to mention Daydream...boys are alot more trouble than most of them are worth (disclaimer: NOT ALL are like that though)*Nods* LOL chin up dahlin..I think it's wonderful, not bad at all
