It did go well, overcame my shyness a few times but he's stayed in contact. 'Twas a success.

That's good news for me, memorization is my specialty! Application, not so much. Probably why I found general chemistry so hard.

Law school allows the bringing of notes (outlines) for exams. So, it isn't memorization. Students have to apply those cases to scenarios.

Meaning that if the highest score is a 80, that's an A. But if most people make a 95, it's an A, and I could make a 96 and it be a B.

You could theoretically make a score in the 90s and still get a C. Some will have to get Cs.

Plus, there's no feedback through the semester. One test at the end for each class.

There is a lot of reading, which I'm not fond of. Every day for hours.

It is So difficult for me to read something I am Not interested in.

One of the requirements for a Horticulture class was to take the test for a silver card.

So you can legally use bug spray?

I passed, but the rules and regs Sucked, to say the least.

(I always thought of it as the "what Not to do card.")

I'll be interested in law, but still that's a lot of legal cases to read every day.

Yikes, I have no reason to complain about my classes then. I never understood the purpose of a hard curve, sounds like the hardest grading system available.
If I mnot interested in the reading I don't even bother to read it. Worked so far but I'll have to change my ways soon.

The hard curve makes students compete with one another for the grades. It's a very tough system.

There will be many overachievers and some slackers. My hope is to stay in the middle of the curve.
