I'm a Scorpio, but every time i make eye contact with someone, even for just a second, i get all nervous and fidgety.
And every time i want to say something i feel like i can't.
And at lunch, i go to the library and go on Lindaland(I'm surprised the school didn't block it off since its considered an "alternative spiritual belief") but I always feel like people are looking at the bright pink forum and judging.
Call it a case of paranoid shyness, but i can't help it. Does anyone have any ideas about helping me get over these fears that keep me from enjoying life to the fullest?

so what if they do judge you? why should you care?

youl be surprised how many people at school will make a pretty face to you and say nice things but will judge you and what you do behind your back

i know its hard not to care about what people think....but it really saves your sanity

btw if you are so afraid of going to LL in school then just dont enter it while youre at school....if you dont wantt o be judged then maybe you should keep it out of their site at first and show it only to people you will know wont judge

I used to be like that alot in high school. I'm getting a little better now but I still have shyness/social anxiety [not extreme]. What made me stop feeling paranoid. I realized that people are too busy worrying about themselves. They don't have time to pay attention to others around them. What you have to realize is that, this is all probably in your head.Just because a person is looking at you, or making eye contact doesn't mean that they are judging you in a bad way. I look at people all the time, but I don't think bad things about them. And peoples opinions about you shouldn't matter. I know it's hard, I'm still struggling with this...especially when you're a teen sometimes you just want to 'fit in. But I believe that things will get better as you get older, if you work on loving yourself

LOP you're back!

Everyone judges in all aspects of life. You can't help but compare what you see to past experiences or determine degree of superiority based off of what you judge. It's just natural, everyone does it. It only depends on whether you let it affect you or not. The more you care, the less happy you will be. You can't always be judged positively, it's impossible, someone will misunderstand you at some point and all you can do is ignore it and focus on people and things that actually make you happy. If people judge, judge them back harder XD
And MillyX is completely right, people are way too busy worrying about themselves to care for more than 5 seconds what others around them are doing.

Hey, thanks guys, i knw i'm just being paranoid, but sometimes my social anxiety feels like a part of my personality, something that will always be a part of me no matter how hard I try. I'll try to take your advice though. And btw sorry this post is a bit late, I haven't been able to go on lindaland for a while

I think everyone feels like that at some point, unless you're born with some ridiculously high confidence. And then they grow out of it, so don't worry
