I went to bed on Friday night and dreamt that one of my bosses died. I couldn't see which one it was (I had three bosses at the time) but knew it wasn't good. When I woke in the morning I blew the dream off as stress though I wasn't feeling stressed about work.

Flash forward to Monday morning...I get to work and things feel strange and out of balance. They call us all into the conference room (there were only 6 of us at the time). They tell us that the other boss died on Sunday morning while playing golf. He was only 48 so this was unexpected. Add to this my dream and I was freaking out a little bit.

Monday night while I was dreaming he came to say good-bye to me. There was a lot of what I can only describe as noise and white light as he was talking to me. He didn't talk long. Just really said good-bye and told me he had to go and watch over his wife and baby (who was 6 months old at the time).

The other dream is from earlier this year around April 24. Whatever night that awful tornado hit Southern Maryland. I didn't know about the tornado when I went to bed because I had been watching cable all day.

That night I dreamt about tornados. I was driving in that part of Maryland with a man who was my boyfriend. He was British. In the dream we had been together for a while but he wasn't anyone I knew in real life.

Anyway, we're driving along and suddenly in the distance we can see all these tornados. I'm not sure how but we ended up at a school and all these people were heading there to stay. We decide we should stay until the tornados are gone. We walk around and stuff (my recall isn't very clear here). Then suddenly we are in the car again on the way back to central Maryland. That's when I woke up.

I turned the radio on in time to hear the news and was shocked to hear about the tornado. Since I wasn't dating or even thinking about dating at the time I realized that I had just dreamt about my new boyfriend as well. I finally met him on June 6 via another message board. Unfortunately, things didn't work out but I can't shake the feeling that it was meant to be in some way. It's very odd and not normal for me.
