^Nice Dream
VCreepy disturbing dream

In the second I was somewhere that was all ice, like MTV's SnowJob type deal, and the MTV Vj's (Rick the temp even) were putting up an ice tent on the ice. As in a tent made of ice, Big Blocks of ice. And securing it with snakes. And my brother was there and he went to hand one of the VJ's a snake, they rejected it because it was a *made up word that meant to middlish* snake and all autumny besides and so wouldn't help at all. I rather liked my brothers snake.

About this time My brother pointed out that they were just killing the snakes anyway so he didn't think it would make much difference, Rick the Temp responded they weren't hurting the snakes, because they were winter snakes. Made me want to say that of course they were killing the bloody snakes and give my brother a hug.

I was silent all the way along though I was distressed by what they were doing to the snakes. I was worried somehow for my safety. Anyway they worked their way all the way along securing this tent with snakes and were about 3/4 done the side I could see when I woke up. Just as one of the Vj's (rick the temp) was about to say something to me.

Big snakes, that in the dream were *winter snakes* though really there is no such thing .. they wrapped them between the tent and the ice, like there were loops or something, and then poured water over top of the snakes to freeze them in. The closest real life equivalents would be like mid size (couple inches thick, 3-4 feet long) anacondas, or other strangler snakes. Diamond and splotchy patterns.

Of the two the first one made a lot of sense to me, we (Mark and I) had passed some townhomes earlier in the day and I had remarked that they were reasonably priced and wanting to go see them. We ende dup talking about it and the townhome in the dream was very similar. Also we're finally official (Girlfriend and boyfriend) to the rest of the world too so a big party with lots of people makes sense.

The second one has me vaguely offcenter and very curious.

The first dream, it is just as you said.

The second dream, I can give you an idea, but you will have to determine if it fits. When snakes get involved, there are just so many possible explanations. Here is a rather short, direct possibility:

Temporarily (tent) frozen emotions (ice) due to lack of understanding or knowledge (frozen snakes) or perhaps ignorance or deceit by another (Rick the Temp), attempting to influence you. The "autumny snake" suggests matured emotions coupled with wisdom or knowledge, to which you are more attracted (thankfully!).

The question is, who does "Rick" represent, and who does your brother represent? Your brother is either himself or someone which has a quality that you liken to him.

There is also the possibility that some area of growth has been halted (frozen) resulting in non-transformation (frozen snakes).

What do you think? It is possible that the two dreams are somehow connected, which leads me to ask if you think it is possible that you are somehow being misled or stifled by someone connected with the relationship? Have you really not yet met your boyfriend's family? Just questions.
