Topic: Yet Another Dream...this one is mine though..

I have a friend named Kevin. He is a very dear friend to me, and I feel that he is somehow connected to me, I used the term partner in my spiritual growth, yesterday...it just seems to fit him so very well...Well, I dreamt about Kevin last night...I dreamed that I went to his house, and my husband came with me...but then, Kevin and I were on a beach. Something about the beach/ocean makes me think we were on the West Coast. So, he was laying on the sand, and I had a video camera taping him. He was laying on his back close to the waters edge, and I was behind his head. He was naked and I was just taping him and laughing and joking etc....then, all of a sudden, the water started to reach him. Then the water covered his whole body like a veil. When the water receded I saw that he was crying, sobbing even. Each time the water would cover him like a veil and then recede his sobs became less and less loud. I worried that he would drown, so I put the camera down and sat down at his head, and held his head up. I mentioned he was naked, but I didn't look at him, not like LOOK at him, but I did notice that he was not clothed. It makes me think immediately of a rebirth of some kind? Because of being naked when we are born, and the amnionitic sack etc... but, anyone care to try this one? Thank you very much... IP: Logged |

btw...i just want to say a special thanks to everyone who has taken the time to look and respond to my dreams i have posted...i appreciate it very much, as sometimes i just can't seem to shake certain points of my dreams to see the bigger picture...sometimes i truly need helping trying to figure out what they could mean...and it means the world to me for you all to help me.. hmm, i've never analyzed a dream before, but i thought i'd share some thoughts.in reading your dream, i felt him going through a gentle change that is helping him release locked emotions to the tides. in being fully exposed, he acknowledges this cleansing and knows it is not meant to hurt him. i sense he feels very vulnerable and trusts you to witness with him this metamorphosis. just my 2 cents.  aphrodite IP: Logged |

I think Aphrodite is right. I also think he trusts you alot, and you care for him alot. But perhaps there are forces stronger than the both of you that threaten him? Good luck! ------------------

Wonderful! Aphrodite has hit the bullseye! I cannot improve upon that interpretation one bit!Just for understanding the symbols, I will give a few. The ocean is the collective unconscious, from whence transformation originates. It also symbolizes emotions - perfect! The beach itself is where the unconscious meets consciousness, often resulting in the release of emotions, and thus a purification - perfect! The sand, and him lying upon it, suggests cyclic activity - emphasized by the ebb and flow - and you are there to witness and assist - perfect! Aphrodite, a gift you have! Your "sensing" is perfect! If I might ask it of you, I would certainly appreciate any other feelings you may have in dreams that in the future appear here. May I ask? wow!! these are fantastic!! and they make PERFECT sense to me!!and to him..as i have shared everyones comments!! see why i love it here so much Kian/SW?
