This may not make a lot of sense because I don't remember all of these dreams. I keep dreaming of a tree. I don't know what kind or even if it is the same one that keeps coming to me 3 nights in a row. In the first one I was looking out a window into a beautiful place and I saw a tree. The window was round and it seemed like I had been there before(of course in the last few days, my whole life has turned into one big deja vu) There was a couple there that I work with(I keep thinking you know them, but that's not possible, is it ) I've dreamed of them before, remember the last dream I repeated to you? The one where they were scientists/researchers and I had to go to hospital because the 'poisonious' snake bit me? Anyway, they were discussing the tree but I don't know what about. In the next one, I was standing by the sea and it seems like I was thinking of Neptune in the back of my mind but there was a miidle sized tree growing out of the ocean, oh say 10 feet out. It was kind of bushy like an oak.....one of these trees may have been a pine.....there was a man who was in charge and he was going to cut down the tree, I was begging him not 2....he was not listening....In the last one, I was in the forest...oh yeah, these were pine.....and it seemed like a storm was coming because the wind was blowing. All of the sudden one of the trees was on fire....were in the house watching from a window....We ran out and there were more trees on fire. They were all smaller trees. They went to run off but I was upset because the trees would die and the whole forest would burn down....I kept yelling,"stop, drop and roll" even though noone was on fire. All of the sudden the fire was out. And I think I was busy telling everyone how important it was to put the fire out(maybe I was bragging??) when one of the branches snapped of in the wind and sparked. It did not catch but we all ran....Next I was with someone and we were staying in a little cottage in the woods. It was run down. I was not happy and I can't remember all of it but I know when we left I told my friend(the 1st time I knew who it was...my best friend from high school) that we should go back and help the woman who owned the cottage(she had no money) My friend asked what we could do and I said we could paint, stencil, hang curtains, and fix the bricks that were coming lose...then the woman was there but now she was Kim(as in Hal and kim)(That's another story, she's having lots of problems some that I don't know about but some I do...Is this her house?Know what I mean) and she was showing us that around the fireplace the bricks were held together by super glue. That's all I remember.

I have been trying to do this, but it is just not happening! At the very least, I will get to look at it tonight at work.

Okay ...

1) The first tree dream ... The tree is self. The window is awareness. Round is self or cycle. Looking out a round window at a tree = self awareness. It could be that something about this couple is leading you into a greater degree of self awareness, perhaps having to do with cycles and relationships.

2) The sea is the collective unconscious. The tree is self. A tree standing in the sea is a perfect symbol for self. Both the tree and the sea are also cyclic symbols. This dream could be about the end of some cycle, or it could suggest feelings of not being in control, powerlessness, or perhaps you feel that someone (represented by the man) is cutting you off from a deeper connection with Self. Is someone stunting your growth? The man could also symbolize the masculine aspect of self, indicating that perhaps this aspect has temporarily taken control of your thought processes, and thus cutting you off from the unconscious forces (sea) (feeling, intuition) that are so important to your development. In other words, do not overanalyze, rationalize, or try to make logical sense of those happenings which you find yourself becoming aware of.

You will have to determine which things fit.

The third one, I need more time with. There seems to be a progression to these dreams, particularly to the state of the trees in each. Are you okay?

Funny you should ask that....When these dreams started I was beginning to feel like I was in hell, or peeking in anyway. Then all of the sudden, it changed....I can't explain fully because I don't know, but I will say that I feel like (once again) a load is off of me. Also the other night I dreamed I looked in the mirror and saw myself. When I get alot of sun my freckles show on my face. Actually it makes me look like a little girl. That is how I looked, younger, freckles and all. I know I'm making progress. I was worried about the man cutting down the tree. Maybe you were right about him being authority. Maybe he didn't listen to my whining and cut it down anyway, and that would have been for the best. Things are looking up and I'll talk to you soon. Thanks for interpretation........

Here is the rest ...

3) Strong emotions (storm) emanating from within the collective unconscious (forest) affecting change (wind). This change is to self (tree) and perhaps others around you (smaller trees), ... maybe because of you? ... a change that requires the destruction/purification of the old form (trees) or perhaps some cycle (also tree). This is further indicated by your yelling "stop, drop and roll" ... "even though noone was on fire" - the trees are you (and perhaps others). I think the fire symbolizes spiritual forces, which seems destructive, but is actually the catalyst/medium through which renewal/purification and immortality are attained (trees also symbolize immortality).

The fire is put out, through your instruction, but is this truly a good thing? You have halted apparent destruction, preserving the trees and the forest - and therefore preserving the old. You kind of brag about your knowledge of these spiritual forces (fire) and the method of manipulating them - but there is another sparked branch, indicating that perhaps your perspective or knowledge is not complete - just a reminder from "them". Complete transformation requires complete destruction, and the forces of spirit (fire) will not be stunted by ego. Do not take this the wrong way (I know you will not). This layer of ego is particularly difficult to perceive, as it is veiled quite cunningly by the mind. "Mind is ever the builder" as Cayce so often stated, but it is also the ultimate deceiver. I also know that you are already aware of all this, so this is just a reminder, from your unconscious (in fact, the collective, so more powerful).

To me, the last scene is suggestive of the way in which one on the path - YOU - should handle spiritual knowledge. Instead of expressing truths in words, truths should be expressed in action. Live it, as much as you preach it (at least). Do, instead of speak. And this is not to say that you should be silent, not at all - but actions truly do speak louder than words. Service, without thought of reward, and therefore without ego.

Kim is provided as an example, as she apparently need direction in waking life. Counsel is good, just make certain that the counsel is not something dictated as fact - you must feel it, as she feels it. There could be a clue offered here as to the root of Kim's problems. The fireplace symbolizes the family center, the heart (hearth), the emotional warmth and security offered from family stability/nuturance. It could be that she is desperately trying to hold together her emotional center as it pertains to family (Hal). She may not be getting the emotional support she needs from Hal. And this is her connection with you - because you understand this.

With all of these dreams there is also a suggestion of things concerning immortality - and this before I read you last reply about the mirror. Have you been contemplating this lately?

How does all of that feel?

I wrote you this real long letter but it would not let me post it. So I was half way through rewriting it when the phone rang. A few mins. later I came back and it was gone. I didn't have time to start again. I will try again tomorrow.
