this was a weird one...i dreamt of going in a huge house, with many, many rooms...an older man owned the house. i do not know him, but i found him oddly attractive...anyway, he was showing me around his house..one room was a bowling alley, one was a casino, right down to the mirrors on the ceilings...we then went up a flight of stairs, into a grand ballroom, being redecorated. it was victorian and i was commenting on how beautiful it was...something i said to him made him angry at me, and he sat on a couch and sulked...

i was very sorry for making him upset, although i didn't know what i had done, and he heard my thoughts and came over to me and hugged me, he apologized to me and told me that i was to have a room in his house. that he would get it ready for me whenever i wanted. we then began to go to other rooms upstairs, all in antiques and oddities. then, he picked me up and was carrying me down the hallway, which was long and winding...he stopped and was showing me a painting of a woman that had been painted in the 1800's...she looked just like me. i told him that i was ready for him to make my room..he leaned forward to kiss me and did so very gently on the lips, nothing all gross or tonguey or anything ..just like a peck...and told me ok, he would get it ready.

i then woke up and had the weirdest feeling inside! almost like i had actually kissed him! and felt a twinge of guilt over it for a minute or two!!

Interesting, Bernadette. I will have to look at this one a bit later, and a bit closer.

I would be interested in how some of the knowflakes feel about this one. Anyone?

Hi Bernadette!

I was hoping to have more time to actually type in all my thoughts on this, but 'tis not to be! And probably for the best.

Perhaps I can narrow my thoughts down a bit (so I can type less!) by giving you a couple of different ideas. One possibility is that these rooms indicate things that you either need or need to observe/look-at in your life. Perhaps entertainment, recreation, etc. Or perhaps there is something of a "gamble" or chance-happening (casino/bowling) that needs to be observed, or acted upon?

Is "upstairs" the mind? Is this where the "dance" is? Is it being "redecorated?" In this context, it is suggested that you are currently (or perhaps will be) changing your mind, or the way you think, about things. The man could be symbolic of that aspect of self, the masculine, and perhaps a need for a re-connection to that side - logic/thinking, assertion, action, something like that.

Do any of these things feel right?

And then there is an entirely different way of looking at it, and in fact this was my first impression. How do you feel about past-lives? Have you been thinking about it lately? I do not know what your relationship status is, but I suspect you have one because of your "twinge" of guilt. How do you feel about him? What is the depth?

Well, those are some of my thoughts. Does anything strike a chord?

Oh, and how do you feel about the 1800s?

I'm SO sorry Ra, I've been out of town this past weekend and had not had time or a computer actually to look at this...

thank you for your response!!

that part makes alot of sense here lately especially...this has been a very serious time of rebirth for me and alot of gambling so to speak with my whole life has been happening...

i'm not much into past lives, BUT...I cannot deny certain feelings that I receive while I am around some people, like I have known them before...soooo...I'm opening up to the thoughts..slow, but surely. The 1800's are fascinating to me, as a matter of fact I have started to become somewhat of a Civil War buff...spent the past 3 days in Lexington Virginia, staying in a B and B built in 1883, and touring many historical sites, including the Stonewall Jackson Cemetary which I found to be HIGHLY intruiging and beautiful...the gothic fencing was amazing...

soooooo...hmmm....it's all very interesting indeed!

Hi, Bernadette... I am new here and got this very strange feeling when I read about your dream. You can take this explanation or leave it.. But I had a simular dream a few years ago.. The huge house is your mind..
It has many rooms "thoughts" "memories" "ideas" and so on... Someone was decorating your "ballroom", I am not sure what that room means to you?? And the man didn't care for the design.. Because someone is trying to make you beleive something that is not true or is not actually what it seems... He "the man" is your higher s-elf telling you something, you need to listen to him...
If he doesn't like or believe the input there is a reason for it... You could be harmed by this in put, or it could lead you in the wrong direction.
Stop and think ??
Has there been anything recently that just didn't sit right with you? Something that some one has tried to make you believe?
Your higher s-elf is trying to carry you away from this thing what ever it is...
I think that you kissed him for helping you, and you also accepted what he was offering, by telling him you were ready for him to make the room.. Does any of this sound right??
My dream was simular .."The huge house"
Some one was trying to build inside... I did not like it... Then a closet with a drawer with something hidden in it... In a nut shell mine was a secret that was being kept from me, that was taking place in my own house and I had to find it.. Then I figured out what the dream meant " my husband was having an affair". He was building the affair right under my nose in our house...
Please let me know what you think?

Could the old man perhaps represent Saturn?
Perhaps him leading u to rooms with antiques represents a need to look at the past in order to discover and learn from lessons that u have been ignoring and that was why he was sulking. When u begin to look at and learn from these things, the corridor will lead u to a new perspective and initiative in your life and new a new lesson to move on to.
Saturn perhaps was also telling u not to be afraid because as an older but wiser entity He is there to not scold u but guide u on your lessons lovingly.
And maybe what u are discovering relates to a past life.
Hmmmmm.
What u think?

Also to add to my previpus reply... The casinos, bowling alleys represent the materialistic part of life and the skittles in the bowling alley em.. obstacles inlife like maybe people, the humdrum of life and the mirrors, looking at people as reflections... moving past those... Are u ready to move on now and look at and within urself now?
Through A maybe new approach to looking at life rather than a victorain and more outdated way.

this relates to me too.
