One
Carl Jung's Archetypes comes close to the most successful interpretation of dreams Experienced Dream Analysts agree Freudian psychoanalysis is impractical, imperfect and is valid only for a very small percentage of dreams.

Two
A dream symbol has its own personal meanings to the dreamer - the generalised meanings are clues - not an end in thems-elves Yet this is what most inexperienced Dream analysts forget. They try to put symbols into specialised compartments - if the meaning doesn't synchronize with the dreamer - then it is not its actual meaning it is useless- the real meaning is different.

Three
There are different kinds of dreams - Great dreams that are reflections of major life situations, Daily dreams that speak about what happened that day or within a week and Time bound dreams that have a specific pattern occuring at specific times like the end of every year (those who keep a dream journal for years have noticed this peculiarity).
