Topic: An old childhood dream

Ra,
I would love it if you could send me some insight on this dream. This was a reoccuring dream nightly for months when I was younger, I was around 9. I am in our backyard playing and I notice that the fence and bushes with the bright red round berries is no longer there, instead it is a wall with a fishing net attached to it for climbing over. I decide to climb up and over-when I get to the top I look over and down and I am in Jerusalem during the time of Jesus crucifixion. I travel thru the city and eventually come to the spot where the crucifixion is going to happen. I have no idea what is going on, so I ask someone what is happening. this very kind looking woman tells me that they are going to be executing a man for insurrection. I am feeling very sad, and an overwhelming need, to see this man. I push my way to the front until I see him, there brused and torn hanging. I feel his anguish. It is more than I can bear. I kneel down at the foot of the cross and sob uncontrollably for this man. He looks down on me. Then I would wake up sobbing. It was so real so intense I can't describe the feelings effectively I guess. I haven't had it in a long time but it is still so vivid in my memory I know it holds much meaning for me.

Amanda, Welcome!This dream is fantastic! I think you already know the significance of the dream and are probably looking for confirmation - and that is exactly what you are going to get! Enrique and Seeker have already done it! My first impression is that of a past-life experience. Even when I look at the possible symbologies involved, I still think the underlying energy is from past-life experience. I would like to ask you if you changed at all, before/during/after this dream, at "around nine?" There is something about the "bushes with bright red berries" ... I am wondering if there is a "red berry bush" indigenous to Jerusalem. For some reason, I get the feeling that this image was used by your unconscious to connect with, or open a door to, this past-life memory. And it is entirely possible that the age of you-in-the-past-life was "around nine." So it could be a temporal connection as well. The dream reminds me of some Edgar Cayce readings in which people would be described in similar situations with Jesus. Quite a "dream" for a nine year old!! my heart and solar plexus chakras are buzzing as I read these replys. is that the right word? they feel very warm, and active. Sometimes I dream so vividly it is scary, and then at other times there is nothing. Mys-elf can be sneaky at times i guess  However I don't recall if anything major happened in my life before/after 9...no that's not true...my family moved into a brand new house across the road at the family farm. So maybe that had some trigger? Who knows.
