Here I go again. I have been having dreams of water, lakes, snow,splashing in lakes,going boating(the boating trip-became dark and hazy after some time, I was surprised), a house by the river(in this case, the river was supposed to be ferocious and awe inspiring, u should have seen its huge drop potential and long, curved path(three dictinct curves, the last the smallest before the drop potential)it would just wash everything in it's way-but fortunately, felt the river, dint actually see it, saw it's mapped path as on diagram. A guide was showing this map to me with a pointer like stick in hand-tracing it's path.The house had one or maybe 2 swimming pools-far less awe inspiring thank God.I have also been seeing, water flowing fast with buildings and a vehicle reflected in it.The reflection showed a lit up building and a lit up car in different scenes. I was peering over this reflection from a balcony, and was calling my mother to show her, the speed of the (water) flow.Evertime, I called her, the water would start going slow???
The water represents the subconsious...right?
Can u pl. enlighten me on the above.
Ra, wanted to update u. Remember my dream about pillars etc, and ur connecting it with my spine. I had this dream 2-3 days back, where a check was going on,(a higher source was doing this) about the lessons I had learnt, from the back problem the level of difficulty and tests still to go through .
U were as usual correct-just wanted to let u know.

Have a few guesses, on what I have currently mentioned,here goes-

Water indicates the subconsious.I have entered at a cerain level in the subconsious..the path is being shown to me (mapped river). I am scared though, so am relieved to see only small swiming pools. The house, building etc, do they represent my outer self, my body?

I will look at this more carefully tomorrow. The water can represent the subconscious, and also the emotions. I think the latter applies here, although our emotions are based upon our subconscious programming, so they are intimately connected. And this could also be hinting at the spine, again, but I will have to let that one "sink in". Also, this type of dream can occur at certain "times of the month" for women.

So what do you think? Emotions?

You do not feel that is about emotions, or the lack of them or their expression? I must say that there are numerous rather strong indicators that this is about the "flowing" of emotions, which are/will be surfacing from your unconscious. Hmmm.

And the spine slant is only an idea, and I think it makes sense, but I would not have seen it this way without knowing your condition, so who knows?

Oh, and what do you feel your mother represents? Issues with her, the feminine aspect of you, comfort, nurturing, guidance, feeling, healing?

You are the expert, so if u feel it is emotions, it must be.
My Mother is the personification of comfort, nurturing, guidance, healing, warmth, stability ,trust and reverence of the highest order. A feminine aspect-of the highest order, akin to the universal power.

I normally begin with water as a representation of some level of consciousness, but in this dream I keep getting pushed back into emotional symbology. If nothing else, time will tell.

So - water can symbolize the unconscious, the emotions, and life force - all of which could be represented in your dream. In the dreams you are experiencing various aspects of water, mostly associated with your personal unconscious (pools/lake) which are secondarily associated with emotions. Some emotions are frozen (snow), unable to express, and difficult to discern (hazy/boating). But it seems that others are gaining expression (splashing in lake), perhaps because of your willingness to explore and indulge yourself (boating, splashing) in your unconscious. And there is healing being done by the life forces as well (house by river).

The river and house are what remind me of your spine, but also suggest the flowing of emotions (also, you "felt" it), and perhaps the two are connected on a subconscious level. The "three distinct curves" remind me of the three lower chakras. The third, or the solar plexus, is known as the "clearing house chakra", which will "wash everything in it's way", as you so appropriately stated. And have you noticed that a map of a river system resembles a circulatory or nerve system? So you are shown the "ferocious" potential of this "river" which you say may scare you somewhat, so the house and pools may also be a reminder that, despite the power - life force - flowing within, you still have stability, just as you stated.

Seeing water flowing fast, especially with reflections, suggests personal emotions. I think the buildings represent just that - building, structure. And the car - your vehicle, your body. But they are reflections. Reflections of self (and they are lit up - that is good!). They are being/will be re-created through release of unconscious (mother) emotional material (flowing water).

Question: how did you feel when the water slowed? Glad, frustrated? If good, then perhaps you need the energy of Mother (comfort, nurturance - unconscious in nature) to heal. If bad, then perhaps the energy of Mother (unconscious emotionals) is what is impeding the flow/healing.

Well, that is what I have so far. There is more that I know I am not hitting on, so let me know what you think.

As usual ur explanation seems telling...it could be very well associated with emotions.
I felt good and surprised, to see the water flow.
